That looks pretty great, really enjoyed the first. Please say that wasn't a co-op partner that's fighting alongside at 1.19ish

Yeah, that looked like co-op. Hope that isn't too ingrained in the main game.
Really enjoyed the first, so looking forward to this. I hope they tighten up the combat a bit though. The first game suffered a bit from coming out not long after Sekiro, with a very similar defensive focus. Fallen Order couldn't compete with how well done Sekiro did it, with animations not being quite right and feel being slightly off.
Nice to see it is out so soon.

Yep very interested after watching the trailer, thought the first game was great. I just want news on KoTOR remake, one of the main reasons I bought a ps5, although I do realise it is "development hell" so might never get it.

I hope there’s more Imperial and humanoid fighting and less critter killing this time around. It always feels like every Star Wars action game would rather have you fighting big green bugs than Stormtroopers.

I guess now we know why one of the pre-order bonuses was a blaster skin. Makes sense if it's for the other character instead of Cal.

I was expecting that given Bloodborne/Sekiro influences in the game, that the blaster would be a new parry mechanic. But makes sense for the new character now. First game was one of thr all time, 'This is a good game that could be a fantastic game if there was a sequel'. Looking forward to it

I wanted to like this more than I did but it just seemed to lack that extra polish/finesse.
There's a great foundation of a game to build on - here's hoping Respawn knock it out of the park this time around.

I had the opposite experience. It took ages for me to warm to it, and then suddenly it was all-consuming. If they can iron out that roller coaster, and increase the quality all around, it could be amazing.
I'm thinking of the leap from Titanfall 1 to Titanfall 2 here - arguably still the best single player shooter campaign of the last decade, for my money.

The combat still has that spongy look to it. I think it's the odd animation, like he almost moves like a string puppet or something. Look how he takes that second lightsaber out at 56 seconds. It just doesn't look right.

Main issue I had with the first game was that almost the entire game felt like the prologue or first act of a different story. I spent hours assuming that opening the vault would be the start of the “real” story not the end of the game. It must’ve been the trend at the time because God of War teased a bigger story while you pootled about on your little row boat playing the princess is in another castle for 25 hours too. |

Animation and combat still look a bit wonky. And it looks like they've latched onto this crazed revisionism that the prequels weren't fucking awful and put the shitty robots in. Looks pretty though.

Gonna just assume some of the walking animations are down to it being an "alpha" build. The animation of him running with 2 lighsabers seems too weird.

It's out in April, I'd be very surprised if that isn't the final animation. Also the original was just as shonky.
