So do you snap during turn 3 or after turn 3 has happened?
I very rarely initiate snapping, and have made the best progress when I just focus on winning, even if it ends up being 2 cubes at the end.

I’d like to take this moment to reiterate that Galactus decks are the biggest pile of horseshit in the game. I really don’t know why people think it’s a great card. It is just bullshit. I really dislike things that chew up the whole balance of the game.

I really dislike things that chew up the whole balance of the game. Galactus hasn't bothered me. The only deck that makes me mad is the spiderman version. He is easy to read and generally can compete against him. Especially with the change. I struggle against discard decks mostly, so probably depends on how you play etc. Of cause if you can't beat him....could join him? Haha |

I don't understand how galactus got nerfed but they buffed his power. It still seems to play out exactly the same except he's now got more power..?

If you've left a lane empty by turn 6 then prob deserve a galactus thump haha! If they go down the route of hobgoblins etc either retreat or odin and send them right back lol |

What's your strategies regarding locations as they reveal?
I play rather cautiously now, as there's so many bad locations like the one where the lowest power wins etc.

I play rather cautiously now, as there's so many bad locations like the one where the lowest power wins etc. Depends on your hand but if a location goes completly against your deck or plays strongly into the other player I retreat. Otherwise as above evaluate the hand and the locations on turn 3. If I think I have a 60% + chance of winning I snap and carry on. If I don't I get the hell out and retreat. If your new there is a lot to say for playing the match out and learning from it. If you're trying to up the ladder them knowing when to retreat is huge. I also wouldn't play blind into a unrevealed location. |

I’d play Nebula blind to lane three on turn one, but beyond that it depends how I’m feeling. I do enjoy the trepidation. Sometimes it pays off. Sometimes it messes you up. Working the lanes is the fun for me. Which is why I find Galactus to be bollocks.  |

I'm flitting between a sera control deck and an on reveal deck atm and the sera one is hands down better, despite not being as popular (or fully complete).   I've seen people use the on reveal deck well but it's so much of a gamble. I even managed to beat one quite handily with the sera deck even though he'd managed to use arnim zola with wong on 2 really buffed up cards and then doctor Doom with wong. I thought surely he'd got it at that point but my bishop and Angela had built up nicely enough. Think I'll stick with sera for the time being. |

I tend to play into unrevealed locations unless there's an obvious reason not to. There's this that anaylsed youy chances of hitting a location that's worse than a neutral outcome for you - it's about 15%. So most times it's not harmful and at best may be work in your favour. I tend to do to mix it up as many players get fixated on the first location in the early turns. Also because I'm bored of so many opponents flopping down the same obvious combo of destroy cards in lane 1. I made a pretty cool control deck with Stegron, Kingpin, Aero, Juggernaught, etc. I'm pretty bored at this point so I was trying to just have fun with lesser used cards. Not got back to infinite this season (stuck between 90 and 95) it's competitive enough though. Having played this for so long now, the worst part is watching the same old decks played against you thst people clearly just googled. Galactus is brainless and ruins the game. The Sera bishop hit monkey deck is so boring to watch having used a version of thst myself long before it was "cool" and the spammyness of the HE decks is just irratating. The current meta has very little skill between that and Galactus. There are so many interesting cards and most are never used in favour of dumb luck through the draw with galactus or in the case of HE whatever falls out of lockjaw. Tribuneral for example, can be hilarious I've won all three lanes with numbers bigger than I could read yet everyone plays the same boring shite. This game was Better with less cards. It forced people to be more creative

So I am now series 3 complete and it says I've claimed my monthly pool 3 card. Obviously I haven't as there wasn't any to claim.
If they drop cards to pool 3 will I then get to pick one?

I think it's only if there are pool 3 cards available when it ticks over, but could be wrong. I haven't had one from that method for a couple of months though.
I've been hoarding credits since the announcement of the shakeup of Collectors Reserves, currently got 6,450 in the bank, but also have 16,800 tokens as can't decide what to spend them on. So when the new system opens, i'll have to do some checking of what's dropping when to figure out the best way to spend them all.
Finished last season at 103, and managed to get 4 wins on an Infinity Conquest before crashing out spectacularly.
Been enjoying it a bit more recently, playing mainly a Destroy deck. Taking a week off helped.

After having tried the conquest mode for the first time, I am now the owner of an infinite ticket! It's quite fun, nerve wracking but fun. I almost always lose the first round quite badly, and then whittle them down over the next several rounds where I can't believe I'm still winning.
What are they playing at with all the changes to the collectors reserves, though? I'd rather they just close the tokens store at this point. It's going to take forever to save up 6000 for an s5 card now.

I'm not a fan of it to be honest (though to be fair, I've gone off the game overall in the last few weeks. Maybe it's the break I needed and the urge to play will hit again.
I think it's also down to not liking the season pass. Don't fancy August's either but September with Loki will be great.
Also not a fan of how the token system has been affected . I have around 13000 right now, so my plan is to save my spotlight caches and tokens until September.

The weekend missions giving tokens for playing Jean Grey in your deck is a bit of a kick in the teeth too. I got Living Tribune in my spotlight, but was hoping it would be Jean Grey.

Yeah no limit to them. I lost on an infinity round last season on the 3rd game..brutal. much prefer it to ladder.
The spotlight caches are awful though, I was hoping for JG, or even the knull variant, hell even living tribunal....what did I get? Fucking snowguard.

Still playing, but the progression seems slower after the update. I had saved up 10k tokens so I could get all the cards from the Spotlight Caches, but only just managed to get all 3 cards (and that was having to play a few extra rounds of challenges bought with gold).
The normal caches haven't dropped anything of value in ages.
Went back to my Destroy deck, and up to 95 at the moment.
Spend most of the time in Conquest now though. It's very handy for daily missions, just start an entry level and it doesn't matter if you win/loose as there is nothing at stake. Snap on the first turn and often they only last a round or 2, and if you win it's a ticket, if not nothing lost.
Then I play more tactically on the higher levels and have a stash of tickets saved up. 5 or 6 Gold in the bank and a couple of Infinity for when that opens up next week.
All the tweaks to the balances however just seem to make some decks stronger, and the variety of opponents seems to be decreasing. Still enjoy playing it as a quick filler, but it's shine is starting to wane.
