I genuinely didn't know you could buy cards. The Token Shop only opens up after a certain Collection Level, so there’s no way you’d be able to know unless someone told you. The game certainly doesn’t. |

58 on the Ranked Season level is good going! That’s my own high water mark.  I think the Token Store opens up at Collection Level 1000. |

I'm at 57 I think. Really only want to reach 60 for the mystery variant. I've fallen for buying variants I like with gold, instead of saving it for big bundles.
Probably a mistake, but my Thors deck is quite pretty

Currently on 82 this season, had been up to 86 which is the highest I've been. My Galactus deck seems to be working well, with a bit of Jubilee if the promoted base of the day is in that decks favour.
I have 10,100 collectors tokens in the bank and have had Thanos pinned for a while, but I am tempted by High Evolutionary.
Really want Howard too (would work well in MrNeg/Galactus deck).

My destroy deck was working great, but I think I tweaked it and now I've dropped to 52. Terrible.

I understand the burnout with the game. Though Nebula is a good card, and I think this season has been worth the cost. |

HE never popped up in my store, so if it's going to be a while, think I will go ahead with Howard.
I have a couple of decks that do well where 1 cost cards aren't really used much (Sunspot or Yondu mainly, who can be useful, but not often critical or game changers). Being able to spot the next card coming would be very useful, especially in my Jubilee and Galactus decks.
That and despite it being a bit shit (actually really quite bad), it was a film I watched a LOT as a kid so I have a soft spot for the character.

Having watched some Iron Lad deck guides I think I'm getting that instead when it comes back around in the store.
HE I expect i will get too when it's fixed. But my initial enthusiasm was dampened also by the snapzone article explaining how it's not going to be the easiest to build a deck around and win with. Different and fun sure, but may end up as niche use.

I must say, I really like playing the deck. There's a lot of tweaking to be done, but it's a breath of fresh air I needed.
Won a decent few matches as well with it. Not using energy to allow Misty Knight buff a card in a locked-down location has won me matches. Definitely need Luke Cage though.

I have to say, I'm burning out on this a bit. Can't really complain I've had 100's of hours out of it. It started when I reached infinite the last two seasons and got worse after actually having enough tokens to grab new cards like Howard and Iron Lad only to realise nothing really changes the game that much at this point. I even got Kang in a collector cache and I found him dull to play and hardly useful. Certainly no "big bad" I actually do like the randomness of Iron lad but it's not been quite enough to fire the magic back up. I've been messing with some of the fun but less popular cards like Shanna and Dazzler hoping to have fun but all it did was confirm that, at this point, the established combos and decks make a large portion of the cards to date unplayable. Certainly if you are trying to rank up. Even HE will get tiring very quickly I'd bet, as like Patriot decks the play lines will be very routine and repetetive. I was also miffed last season to find that any rank above 100 is ignored at the new season and you drop to 70 regardless. I was at 130 at the time

Got all the pool 3 cards, 3 of pool 4 (and only Nimrod would be any use to my current decks).
Fire it up daily for missions, and often get sucked into one-more-game, but it's loosing it's shine a bit.
Some new modes would really help.
I try to switch decks fairly often to mix it up, but find myself only using 3 really (GalactusNeg, Jubilee and Destroy), haven't used my Patriot deck in ages even though it worked well, nor my Wong deck or move deck.

I must say I found High Evolutionary...uninspiring. Found him quite boring after a few games. When he came out, I stopped playing until today when I used a bounce deck I found online. Decent win rate, and more importantly enjoyable to play. Bounce decks are almost always the most fun because they play out differently each time. Most decks go like this - did I get the draw I need? No. Probably game over then. Yes. Play cards in a specific order aaaand repeat |
