I started playing this the other day No idea if I'm playing it right, but it's quite addictive. I'm reading through this thread and have no idea what's being said, so I guess I have a lot to pick up. Like all of these types of games, it'll seem a bit impenetrable until you actually start playing it regularly and immerse yourself. Before long you'll know how to spot a Wong 'Un a mile off, and will be able to predict the last two cards an opponent will play based on their first three.  Plenty of advice to be had in this here thread if you want any! |

I think I might be. I think P3 completion was my white whale and it's done (for) now. Wondering, if you start the season with P3 complete do you still get a free pool 3 pick from the shop later in the month when do a P4 to P3 drop? Yes you do, as I did the same thing last season. When they drop they'll appear in your shop to claim. I'm waiting for Knull  |

I'm having a lot of fun with my "guardians and friends deck" hoping this is the season I get infinate but never going to happen. # (1) Nebula # (1) Rocket Raccoon # (1) Yondu # (2) Angela # (2) Hit-Monkey # (2) Beast # (2) Armor # (3) Storm # (3) Groot # (4) Enchantress # (5) Gamora # (6) Thanos Nebula's a great card, especially behind Storm and other control plays. i was maybe going to skip the season pass this time but it feels like a v useful card to have and already used it a lot. |

Finished the recruit tier. I guess I just keep going? I notice there is only 1 game mode. Is that it or are others locked behind a pay wall?

You will aquire cards at a very quick rate. When you get to card level 500 it will slow down. None of it is really behind a pay wall as such. Unless you want a newly released card or season pass card. The season pass if you want to spend real money is the best value. Personally I didn't spend any money until the last two season passes. Only two modes. Ranked and the 1v1 battle mode. There're more planned and won't be behind a pay wall |

I finally caved this morning and signed up to this, added all my cards (actually pretty frictionless, don't know why I've avoided it for so long) and started browsing some decks. The navigation is all over the place, but it's a good resource. 12 cards away from completing Series 3, apparently, which is more than I thought!!! |

With the right draw the power numbers are crazy I had the same thought as you but nebula never stays on the board long enough to support the collector and bishop lane. Human torch can get massive numbers but if you don't get iron fist it's pointless. Those are the two subs. Something like Rocket and Tondu works well for power and disruption respectively |

Yeah the bots have got alot better but you won't get humans till you've played for a bit longer. They have to suck you in somehow haha. Good to get an idea of how it all works though without getting smashed by meta decks in your first month

Heads up, the May patch update, including free Kitty Pryde, should be mid week this week based on the 4 weekly of the previous ones. But no confirmation from the dev yet on exact time.
Usually includes the series drops, balance tweaks and other updates to shop features etc but also tbc what's included this time.

Can set a custom avatar and title for different decks!
The number of Cubes required to Rank Up have decreased from 10 Cubes to 7 Cubes.
The number of Bonus Ranks gained when Tiering up has been reduced from 5 Ranks to 3 Ranks. (Example: When ranking up from rank 29, a player will go to Rank 33 instead of Rank 35.)
Darkhawk & Knull staying in Pool 4 for time being...boo

I managed to get Kitty Pride up to 64 power in a game with added energy, an added turn, *and* a location that doubled the power of a card. That guy wisely retreated just before the last turn played out.

High Evolutionary is out tomorrow. Hopefully he'll help me make the heady heights of 60 before the season ends.
I think the next card I'll save for is Spider Pig. Taking away the abilities of the opponents highest cost card in their hand will be useful. And there's also Spiderman 2099..it'll be the first season where I'm interested in so many of the cards
