I think he's dead lucky there. Brentford player isn't a million miles away. Perhaps one of those that the on field decision wouldn't have been changed. My (completely biased) opinion is that a yellow is sufficient there. Not sure it warrants a red which completely changes the game. It’s very silly though and gives the ref a decision to make. Certainly wouldn’t have been uproar if he’d gotten sent off.

I'd say it falls under category of preventing a promising attack rather than denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity. Long may Vicario's antics continue.
