One-Nil to the Arsenal is fine with me.
Spurs incredibly wasteful, which I'm okay with obviously.

It’s getting harder and harder to feel positive about Angeball now that everyone has seen it.

Looking at the line ups, I can see this being another Newcastle. I think we’ll have a lot of the ball, huff and puff and gift you chances on the counter. I’d take a draw! Ok, it was a corner rather than counter but point still stands.

I imagine the correct Gabriel will get the player of the match award after Sky's cock up during the game.

Had to go audio only for the second half, so that was pretty stressful. Amazing result. Really takes the pressure off next weekend. Had to get at least a couple of points out of these fixtures somehow. The back five were superb and pulled us through.

Great play from Wolves, the leaving of the ball was excellent.

Anyone keeping tabs on cards this weekend? Feels like this must be a record weekend.

I want Wolves to win.
edit: and now that is incredibly unlikely, at least there wasn't some unfortunate deflection this time.

Newcastle have very much taken the Wenger approach of all our returning sicknotes being like new signings in place of actually making new signings

So Ange said we don't have a set piece coach.. how? Seems a bit weird if true. We’ve seen today that could be the difference between winning and drawing/losing. I think we need to be careful about over reacting here though. On balance of play we should have won all 4 games so there is something there. If the goals start coming we’ll be golden.

Weirdly the Coventry game is quite a big one. We were always going to struggle to do too much in the league at this stage. So getting knocked out of a winnable cup competition would be pretty bad.

Worst start in 9 years. Finished 3rd that season.

I don’t understand how its managing to feel like a shaky start to the season and the conversations at work are about how nervy the team is yet Newcastle are third with 10 points and only two behind the cheats in first. Shall we just call time on the season now?

Merson saying it was a foul on Romero just before the goal for the push by Gabriel. But I agree with them that Romero struggles with man making instead of zonal.

Worst start in 9 years. Finished 3rd that season. We’ve played Newcastle away and Arsenal at home, and should have at least got points in both. I’m frustrated but not really worried at the moment. Related thought - I always wondered what was classed as a ‘start’ and where the cut off is. Clearly 4 games is but I swear sometimes they are still saying it after 10-15 games.

I think they just go with it week by week for the drama.
Even before the game the commentator was saying the title race is down to Arsenal and City because Liverpool lost yesterday.

Yeah it just seems like a fairly meaningless stat. Our worst start after 4 games. Ok but if win the next 6 it would probably be one of our best ‘starts’.
