Aside from Bruno, Mainoo and maybe Martinez, United's team is bang average. Oh de Ligt actually. He looked good till he scythed Luis.

Bruno gets way too much credit imo. He goes missing in far too many of these games to be considered irreplaceable.

True. On his day, he's class, but he CBA when things go awry.

Bruno, Mainoo, Martinez and de Ligt were awful today.
Harry looks better than de Ligt

Annoyed we didn’t score more, but happy with the clean sheet.
Utd still look bang average after all the money spent. It’s almost as if the coaching is the issue…

You only have to look at the fact that Slot has had 3 games, signed no one until the other day and already has them absolutely toying with us to the point their players can start using the right stick on their controller in our six yard box.

Ten Hag might not be it. In his third year managing the side vs a manager in his third match managing the side. And they are a million miles ahead of us. It is depressing.
Maybe we will just continue going on League Cup or FA Cup runs, but there's not a hope he will ever have us competing for the big prizes.

Whether we like it or not, Slot inherited a team with solid foundations from Klopp and a well-taught style of play that they execute to perfection; I don't believe ManU has had that since SAF left.

Lots of empty prams and toys everywhere 😂
We have started clearing the squad out, got rid of 21 players and got 7 in. Let's at least wait a bit before losing our shit this season. It won't even be fixed this season, still a good few players will need cycling out of the squad.
Rashford looks like that back injury has finished him and he needs to be dropped. Looking forward to seeing what Ugarte brings to the side and hopefully Rasmus will be fit after the international break.

Every good manager usually has an impact when taking over a team, might be attacking (like Ange) or tightening things up (like Arteta did at first), not to say it works out in the end but at least you can see the coaches earned their pay.
What's Ten Hag's style/imprint after 2 years of coaching??

Liverpool can beat us on any given day and that's fine.
The manner of the defeat is what's pathetic. Same non existent midfield, same clueless defending, same atrocious attitude when setbacks occur. Toxic positivity won't change what happens in front of everyone's eyes almost every week.

I think the problem might be that we are in our third season and still can’t pass the ball properly in the final third when we are attacking. We have like a 1 in 10 chance of actually doing something….
Something is fundamentally wrong when players on 200k per week can’t pass a ball when they are in decent attacking positions. Even Bruno only has about a 25% success rate. It’s shocking.

@clem Not sure a functioning midfield 3 can have Bruno in it in a big game. It's puts too much pressure on the other 2. Mainoo and Casemiro were both to blame for the first and then they both had terrible errors that lead to a goal. When you make 3 terrible mistakes like that you are never getting anything out of the game.
There is definitely issues with the wide players and we need to just go with Amad and Garnacho and give them a chance to make the spot their own.

Rashford had another bad game, his help defending in our own half was a joke, and piss poor attitude as has become his norm. But to be fair he created two brill chances that Jay-Z really should have put away. He was poor, need Hojlund back.
Garnacho was really poor today also though. Amad decent when he came on, but most of the team had checked out by then really.
I'd like to see Garnacho play on the left and Amad next game too.

Yeah Garnacho was poor but he has enough credit in the bank to not be dropped for it. It's certainly the next position to try and fix next year I think.
Liverpool deserve credit for 2 brilliant finishes for the second and third goal as well, the wankers.

This would be the type of game for McTominay too. But without him I guess, Collyer? Looks like it. This lad came from Brightona academy right?. I hope we got some reasonable money - AFAIK it wasn't a tribunal situation.
