Man Utd transfer record has been awful since Fergie left, nothing they did in the summer looked like things were going to change.
They finally managed to start shredding some of the dross they've signed over the years but none of the players signed looked outstanindg. Some might turn out to be good, but an average striker, an average centre half, an avergage right back.
Even the new midfielder is a failure from PSG. Likely another okay player, nothing more.

Ugarte will be the next poor bastard to come in with all hopes pinned on. While it would be difficult to be worse than that fucking donkey we are playing today, he's not going to salvage things single handedly.
