Based on the first 30 minutes. This ref is going to make a really bad call at some point.

Not arsed who wins it so long as it’s not City. Yes even Liverpool. Pretty much.

I think there tends to be a begrudging respect both ways tbh with Liverpool despite the banter, and there’s the derby thing plus Manchester is Red vs the wrong version obviously. Realistically at present we are rivals to neither club so I’d rather a team won without 115 charges and all that cheating, hence even LiVARpool (there is that better 😂). Both teams have some entitled characters associated with them, I dislike Van Dijk almost as much as Haaland. Haaland was a sick rapper though.

Villa were a tough nut to crack. After their recent performances, they were really up for the fight tonight. Got to give them credit for shutting down Liverpool however losing Trent early meant the big switch wasn't on.
2 good breaks, Darwin Nunez should have put the game to bed but he only scores difficult chances.

A real shame if City are going to shit the bed this year that we've also decided to do it at the same time. Liverpool must be loving everything right now.

Someone tell me I’m wrong that Baleba looks like someone Wenger would have picked up. That pace wow.

I wonder how long it will take for the Liverpool fans to appear on here again….
Nobody wants city to win it again, but just remember Liverpool fans are the worst winners, they completely destroyed their own city after they won the covid trophy.

Yeah I think he rage quit in September after something Utd related. A shame though, I didn't always agree with him but that was mostly in a good way. Hopefully he comes back.

He reminds me a bit of Rohan Ince as well with his strength. Thought he was MOTM rather than Pedro

Can't see anyone getting near Liverpool, they've been the most consistent team so far.
Man City seem to be in transition and having one of their generous seasons where they appear to be letting someone else have a chance.
My team Arsenal are playing football that is very reminiscent of early Arteta teams though we have been unlucky with injuries whereas in previous seasons we have had good fortune in that area.

We all seem to forget that City towards second half of the season just start going above second gear and other teams buckle under pressure.

Yeah way too early to say anything definitive.
They'll be very lucky to keep VvD and Salah fit for the entire seasons. They'll have difficulty periods to come through. I think they're genuine contenders but they aren't going to romp it.

Great goal by Bruno, but my god he’s been terrible apart from that. Just gives the ball away and miss reads the game constantly

We really are the most frustrating team to support. Beat city and villa, lose to palace and losing at home to Ipswich. Can only think it’s complacency
