Have any of the commentators mentioned how this procession up to Windsor seems to be accompanied by an occasional bong from a bell somewhere, or a firing of a cannon? They don’t seem evenly spaced, as far as I can tell it’s completely random. It’s adding to the already surreal nature of the whole thing for me.

Sebastapol bell sounds five seconds after the canon.
There's also another bell somewhere.

Kinda interesting how these chapels are constructed. Is the back half cutoff from the front where the altar/coffin is? Can those in the back actually see the priest and choir etc?

I found it hard not to be struck with pride several times over today. We don't do a great deal right, but christ that was an incredibly moving day.
Some of the pictures from the Mall and Windsor will be iconic long after we're gone.
