Yeah I think it means it’s like a normal bank holiday where offices etc are likely to be closed, supermarkets etc may or may not be open (I would guess not open). |

Eurgh. I'd rather just bank the holiday than have a bank holiday. Fairly sure my allowance has been fucked by the extra ones this year. Blah.
Still, I manage to get away with not working 2 hours a day sometimes, so it balances out.

I’ve still about 20 days to take this year, due to 2 flexi days a month + annual leave. Another bank holiday with kids at home is just admitting.

Tomorrow will be a pain in the ass, Charles and Camilla will be attending a service in Belfast, right outside my job and calling in here for a walk around. I've been told to look "sharp". I'm a scruffy looking cleaner in a uniform usually covered in sweat, so good luck with that.

The other two cleaners are given the day off because I'm the only one with the clearance to be around apparently so I've a stinking suspicion they'll want me to be "seen" looking busy. Think I'll come into this site first and do my usual first second to avoid it.

When Prince Edward visited my place of work years ago everyone was told to look smart etc. and my team was told to work from home.
Not so much worried about what we looked like, but the likelyhood of a misplaced joke or too.
