I really like the way its being reported that Andy has 'inherited' and looking after the corgis, like he will actually lift a single, sweatless finger rather than palming it off on a servant and then getting them put down in six months.

It seems like he's the most worthy to pickup some new Royal Doodies.
(sorry)

At least the age old mystery of whether you can fit a corgi up a grown man's arse will be answered.

What did the corgis do to fucking deserve that

12-20 hour queue to see the Queen's corpse in a box.
Can you take a selfie with the box? Don't see the point otherwise.

Yeah I think it means it’s like a normal bank holiday where offices etc are likely to be closed, supermarkets etc may or may not be open (I would guess not open). My guess is the Supermarkets will do a wait and see on who moves first as to open or not. Pretty sure the public can survive 3 days in a year with them closed.

You can argue about the right time and place and even the sentiment but I dunno, seems like a slippery slope considering it was an otherwise peaceful protest.

Trowel 🏴Fun fact: I actually did some animation on the short lived Modern Toss series (season 2).

I can see the disappointment on his face when Andrew learns of the concept of 'dog years'

Tuffty - we're already pretty far down that particular slippery slope. Pretty fucking nasty changes were made to the right to protest and came into force back in June. This is just one of the first times I've heard of it being enacted.

No selfies with the box unfortunately. Souvenier photos are available for an additional cost though. Have we done that clip of Andrew touching up his daughter's arse? Or was it fake? Didn't look right....

I suspect they were able to remove her because of the "Fuck", possibly a Breach of the Peace.

Is this a Schrödinger's box type of thing?

They are only adding to the Lizard conspiracy theories. Unless I have proof, I don't think I can let my employees have the funeral day off. I'm sure the one who refused to turn our logos black for the day because she was a "colonialist and racist" won't be anyway.

Didn't they sneak in a bill that made protesting effectively illegal while everyone was too busy updating their covid deaths spreadsheets?

Ah so, a 175 year old law that they thought had gone a decade ago.
Well, I’ll be sure to take my stout yew bow if I go visit my brother this weekend, as it’s only legal to leave your parish on a Sunday if you’re going to an archery competition.

My boy has been telling my in that very straightforward instruction giving voice little kids can have that “the Queen has died but don’t worry because the King is going to look after you” Which isn’t the worst cobbling together of events half watched on the news and filtered through his 3yo mind My kids are older, but they're a little sad that the lady who was on tv with James Bond *and* Paddington has died. The main fact that they know about the UK monarchy is that the queen always kept a marmalade sandwich in her handbag in case of emergencies.
