Another newbie questionie: why do people care about finishing the campaign before the season starts? So they can focus on that?
Somehow I’m still on act 1. I should probably hurry up regardless.
I fully admit I have no idea how a Diablo game plays out.

I fully admit I have no idea how a Diablo game plays out. So that you can skip it on your seasonal characters. You also keep all your Altars of Lilith and map unlocks (and the renown from them) so it's worth getting those maxed. |

I fully admit I have no idea how a Diablo game plays out. You can't engage with the new seasonal mechanics (Malignant Hearts) until you finish the campaign. You can still do the other seasonal stuff to advance the battle pass though. |

I have a level 10 Rogue, but it looks so fun that I'm gonna save it for the season start.

My campaign was necro, did swither about the druid.
Looks like i should have done that after all!
Especially after reading the necro needs has spells not working properly /needs buffed.
Anyhoo, i think you can re-roll for a seasonal character? So might do that once i unlock the map and arse about with more side missions /dungeons with my main goth necro lady.

Not "can reroll" but rather "must reroll" as it's a separate server from the Eternal Realm character we all have so far. As broken as Necro apparently is, I'm level 55 and still rocking pretty solidly in WT3 so YMMV. |

Is everyone a bloody hippy druid? Im a sorc main but I'm undecided for season 1. If they sort out necro such that a minon don't suck then I'll go necro otherwise I'll be rogue .... Or blizzard/fire sorc. I like a dot build. Every necro I see is a single Pringle with no minions |

I've finally found some new pants last night ... they had all the affixes I wanted albeit not the best rolls. I accidentally burned them. Absolutely fucking gutted. Found another pair today, they suck but I needed to swap as my old ones were holding me back armour wise
What I did find today was Fists of Fate, unique gloves. I wasn't sold at first but I put them on to try. Well, I can literally one shot some stuff when they proc. I love them!

PhattsoI am enjoying necro solo. Holding my own vs mobs at lev 51 or 52. The odd boss kills me once in a while. I have not dared WT3 yet, but probably should as my loot is a bit poop mostly.

I was definitely made of rice paper for a while there. A few good drops and finally moving on from low armour gear with Aspects I’d come to rely on was the game changer. Multiple elites are challenging. Bosses take a bit of extra thought. But still rocking on at WT3! Give it a whirl, and don’t lose faith at first. It gets easier.  |

I've lucked out really as most of main damage affixes are on other pieces (which is making swapping them out a bit difficult) but I held onto the old ones just in case.
I've forgone some damage in favour of move speed anyway, I like to be a nimble sumbitch.

I'm rocking a minion Necro, LV63 and I melt stuff pretty easily, my build is based around vulnerability and essentially every skill I have causes it, obviously I'm using Bone Spear because you really have to and everything I have basically increase crits so I generally destroy a mob with one bone spear. |

Apparently my rogue build is B tier (and probably worse than that because I'm not netdecking it) but I'm doing fine, other than sensibly avoiding certain situations

We ought to try and get some group play together. I might be back on in a bit but defo on tomorrow.
Ive avoided grouping with people in the clan because I'm not sure how I'd do Comms. I've been playing on TV cast over network via steam link so don't really have a keyboard handy.
I'd happily join others and just tag along in whatever they're doing though
