Nope. Love a good ARPG though. Ah right yeah. Just curious. The retro pull is what's making me love it so much so I think I can overlook all the dated elements to it (or even, in this case, embrace them). So I did wonder what a new player would make of it. |

Hm, every bloody frozen orb guide mentions energy shield which is energy not vitality. I'm getting confused with sorcs. Maybe that's why I never tried them

Just play? I'm not doing any meta build, just smashing points into charged bolt at the moment. Seems to be laying waste to most stuff at the moment.
Got me some runes for the stealth runeword and I've also got a PoS armour with 2 socks ready for when I hit level 17.
I'm saving my respec with akara(?) for when I have more of an idea where I want to go.

I mentioned to Mrs Hermit I was thinking of buying this and she has now decided that I can have it for Christmas, so apparently I'm not. Looks like I'm buying Far Cry 6 instead.

Yeah I was just looking at that. I'll probably end up doing something like that and just focus on vit I think. But for now, I'm just going to get used to the sorc in general. It's because the necro and the assassin keep winking at me |

I wish that was a possibility, for someone who dismisses everything that isn't Minecraft as "Rob's silly games" she's got a pretty good handle on what games I do and don't own.

Managed to tear myself off it. Level 10 now and getting a bit more comfortable with the sorc and the way she works.
Got my first rune too, Eth, yay
Should get act 1 done tonight if I manage to get back on.
Fucks sake, totally addicted again. Love it.

Something that's been annoying me is the use of F keys to switch to skills but then actually having to press mouse 2 to cast it. Seemed a bit cumbersome and I thought maybe I was doing it wrong.
However, I've just been reading and this is the original design but.... with a pad attached, you can assign skills to buttons like on D3 which makes it a bit easier but then you lose the manual targeting of the mouse cursor.
Why the fuck didn't they make it so I could direct cast from keys as well.
