I bumped it up to WT 2 as it seemed better to get more experience. I'm managing ok, but definitely running up against tougher opposition now. Is it silly to jump pretty much straight in to WT 2? 1 seemed very easy. I think it's class dependent - a lot of folks complained that some bosses were frustrating on WT2 and took ages to whittle down. That wasn't my experience - I went straight in at WT2 from the get-go, and it basically felt like it should to me. Challenging, but rarely frustrating. Anything easier wouldn't have held my attention. I'd imagine the jump from WT1->WT3 at endgame would be... shocking.  |

Yeah that's my experience so far. Only died once to some crazy event that spawned shit loads of elites in a very confined space. And even then it was just because I wasn't paying attention to me health. Bosses feel tough but that's to be expected.

I'm a bit further than you (level 33 or so, must be near end of Act 3) and playing on WT2. Feels about right to me as a rogue class. I am starting to run into a little difficulty at the moment and have died a couple of times, but that is mostly when I stop paying attention. Bosses haven't felt too tanky and felt about right in terms of difficulty (maybe even a bit on the easy side).
Feel like I might do some respeccing, as I quite fancy the mega passive that makes vulnerable enemies explode and I don't have any abilities to make them vulnerable at the moment.

Twisting blades makes them super vulnerable if that helps

In trying to think now.
I use shadow step first to teleport in, mash twisted blades and then use concealment to get out. As I'm just getting out, there's an explosion and everyone that got hit by the initial twisted blade explodes and either dies or are heavily damaged and in a vulnerable state. I'm trying to think what makes them pop and then die/gp vulnerable

Cool. I've only seen a few vids of TB builds and they were using it and when I see another playin roaming the lands they always seem to be firing off the little knives.

I found a right bastard of an elite poision tree earlier who took me out too easily. The downside of needing to be up close and personal is that I'm always in the poison cloud/fear zone

That's pretty much how I feel! I've had annoyingly little time to spend on this over the weekend but pushing lvl 20 now and having a blast, despite finding the whole thing quite daunting. Even more so as this is my first proper go at a Diablo game! I bumped it up to WT 2 as it seemed better to get more experience. I'm managing ok, but definitely running up against tougher opposition now. Is it silly to jump pretty much straight in to WT 2? 1 seemed very easy. I'm at the same point really, lvl 26 and not died yet on WT1, so will up to WT2 next time I log on and see how that is. |

Wait until you try a stronghold before bumping the WT up as they're pitched harder anyway.

If it helps, I did all of the campaign on wt1 and then straight after shifted it to wt3. It was a bit of a jump, but it just takes you a bit of time to settle into it.
Also, I still don't get why a sturdy saddle costs 5,758,094 gold.

Still not tried any strongholds yet either.

I felt like I was going to hit level 50 much quicker than the end credits of the campaign, but leveling seems to have slowed quite a bit since hitting 30. Think I heard it slows even moreso after 40 too.
Looking like I will be around level 45 by the end.

I've been running Iceheart Brais unique for ages now. I dont think I need the extra frost nova proc chance now and could benefit from another aspect instead. Can I find a decent set of ancestral pants? Can I fuck!
