Are you yolo'ing skills and gear or do you have a direction/build you're aiming for? I aimed for ice shard princess and looked at the skills that synergise well on a few different builds and generalised along those lines but did a lot of my own thing around that template based on gear I was getting, aspects I was finding or mobs fighting etc. It's a bit haphazard shall we say. I did spot a guide on a general high mobility shadow based build which I've tinkered with along the way as you say, I find I need to chop and change a bit to suit my playstyle and also factor in learning the prized stats for gear etc and just trying to utilise it the best I can really |

My brief time with Rogue does seem to suggest it's pretty fun, if a bit complicated.

My brief time with Rogue does seem to suggest it's pretty fun, if a bit complicated. Rogue is heaps of fun, it was like 4th on my list to play before I tried it out but it grabbed me pretty quickly. |

Finishing the story at level 36 certainly raised my pulse a few times. Almost everything on the last stretch was level 45  "Background" maintenance going on now and I've been kicked out, so I guess that's me done for the evening... |

Think that's all sorted now. It's got background maintenance going on today and tomorrow between 17:00 - 22:00 each day though, so expect it to shit itself.

I was kicked out a moment ago, but seem to be back in again. Message on B.net says that maintenance is between 18:00 and 22:00 CEST, and Google tells me it is 22:46 right now, so should be ok now (unless the times are different for different platforms).

Yes! WT 4 here i come not gonna lie that was a tough fight. The mobs were ok even if I was a little rippy but got a bit more mobile and don't let them cc me. The boss however, what a twat. Homing fireballs, ads and ground effects oh my! He will rinse your health pool in 3 shots and dead ... Did a couple more attempts and got him half way but then couldn't do anything. Back to town, repair my shit and upgraded everything to 4/5. Tried again and with some lithe acrobatics and switch to pad for auto-aim I could whittle him to 30-40% ish. Used a life elixir to add 30% and I got him to within an inch. Realised I could now do the next tier of gems. First try. Dead!  |

Just a couple of missions into Act V. Messed with my build and spent my first few Paragon points too, so really excited to get into the endgame stuff once I’ve cleared the campaign.

Feel like I'm leveling up really quickly, which could be because I'm playing on WT2. Barely started Act 2 (just been to the manor) and I'm already around level 27. Does leveling slow down quite a bit? At the moment it feels like I will be well beyond 50 by the time I finish the campaign and I haven't really done much of the side content.

Each level requires more xp than the previous so yeah it slows down. Depending on how much side stuff you do the higher your level will be when done. I dinged 50 just as I killed the campaign end boss but some others here did it sooner.

Am I right that you can’t start a character on tier 3? I’ve unlocked it for my existing character but it’s not showing available for a new one.

Yeah, you need to do the capstone dungeons on each new character to unlock WT3 and WT4. You can always start a new one and invite someone else to get you through the capstone I believe.

Well, while I'm still only on wt1, I've had a good look at skills and items and after spending about an hour upgrading, socketing, sorting aspects out and putting the right skills I want in the right places and given it another go, it's much better. I now have a constant heal - slow regeneration out of battle but really fast regeneration in battle. 2 different types of barriers and shields and complimented skills with aspects. *now* I'm kicking bottom, finally |

I've done all side quests too. Well, the ones I'd come across. Now its either the rest of the map or the capstone dungeon I guess. Just dinged 48 so might get to 50 first by doing the map and then the dungeon

Saying that though, even with scaling isn't the WT3 floor lifted to 50+. On WT3 everywhere is 73.
I'm currently 'that guy' tagging along around the helltides while the big bois one shot the events and mobs grabbing ancestral gear.
I can kill them easily enough but I'm sqwisheee so my kite game is strong
