I love all the areas in Diablo 2. Progressing to the next act always felt like a big deal, which was missing in Diablo 3

Tir Ral is awesome for fire sorcs early doors
Ral Tir Tal Sol on your act 2 merc for infinite mana
Tal Eth is great body armour up to Hell
Tir El is a fine melee weapon.
Can farm the countess for all of tbose

It's got cross save afaik if you're mad enough to buy two copies. Not so sure about cross play though but I would hope so, seems to be getting more and more common these days thankfully.

Yeah, I keep getting flashbacks of playing - countess runs for juicy runes, baal + meph runs, love the Kurast area + music.
And all that in nice high def on a massive telly with a sofa + smoke + beers will go down a fucking treat.

I did heaps of rune farming in Kurast town place but only ever saw 2 or 3 high end ones, in literally 1000s of hours (of overall play, not Kurast). I used to do 4-box forge runs and cubed up some ok stuff.

I'd love Diablo 1. Even though I never made it much further than the second area. I think I only completed it with cheats.
Anyway I've bought it now after deciding I am done with Deathloop for the moment and flogging it for near what I paid for it so I can justify spunking more money. I'm glad I got the disc version of the PS5, it fits better with my whimsical nature. I know I'll want to keep this regardless of how much I actually play it becuase I'm a fuckhead so I'm glad this is digital.
I'm rambling.
I bought it. This is your fault quad, I don't know how, but it is. It normally is.

It's about 7 quid on gog if you've a pc. You can download a saver program so you can backup your chars too. You don't need to, but the death penalty is harsh as you drop all your shit (including shit you are wearing) where you die so it's a complete bastard getting back in your pants to get it all back again. It's not my fucking fault! Anyway, there is no fault, the game will be class and we'll all love it! |
