Hit 48 in 2 fairly short sessions, levels absolutely fly by in helltide.

Do first capstone at lvl 35 so you can go WT3 straight away. WT4 dungeon at 55 apparently. I’m 52 or so, will give it a bash later.

Playing this again, it's actually.. quite good now. They seem to have reduced the grind quite substantially, I think 100 is easily doable for casuals now. I did WT4 dungeon at 50, but the gear in WT4 is min 55, so I was a bit gimped for a few levels (and too stubborn to go back to wt3 obviously).

If you manage to flex the capstones early then just go a ride out into the helltides and hoover up the dregs to get some early next tier gear

This is really good again, lost a lot of the weekend playing, it's so easy to level up. Absolute scenes in the helltides, fuckin never ending loot and monsters all over the place.
Highly recommend jumping back in if you have the itch.

Had another go myself and it is indeed good! Plays really well and i do like the atmosphere of the game.
Tried a pyro sorcerer and just melting everything in WT3 helltides, drowning in legendaries.
I do wish i could replay the campaign at WT3 and higher thou.

Yeah how does the campaign work now? Levelling is so fast these days it feels like you'd hit level 50 by end of Act 1.

There is an option to skip it when you create a new character if you have done it once. Hit 60 on a double swing Barbarian in about 9 hours playtime so you start feeling the scope and power for a class really quick. |

Aye I've been doing that with my seasonal and already at 60 in similar time. Presumably if you're not campaign skipping you'd be 70, 80 and ready for the WT4 Capstone by the time you finished the campaign now? |

I did the WT4 capstone at 51 with the 'lazymancer' minion necro build. Not that much point since everything there drops with a 55 requirement but I did it anyway.

Can honestly say Diablo is back.
1st time around release I crawled to 80 on a druid and gave up.
Last 2 weeks? 100 Barb pushing 50 in the Pit, Necro at 100 and geared up. Rogue and Mage at around 30. I'm pretty sure I'm going to hit 100 on all them and make a Druid.

Have reached the 'get slightly better versions of current stuff' stage with this season, it's been fun but I don't really enjoy that side of ARPGs now. Will be back for season 5 for sure, the game is definitely improving.

Probably the last one before the expansion. I'm checked out until then tbh, finding loot rarely feels good. It needs a bit of a LoD style shakeup for me (sets, runes, that sorta thing)

S5 looks interesting, they've tweaked all the uniques, made levelling even quicker, upped mob density etc. Definitely having a look anyway.

Haven't messed with the latest Season, but did go back to my OG Necromancer that I'd parked at level 65. Unlocked World Tier 4, and now up to L73 or so and just having a blast.
The spawn rate in the Helltides is quite different now compared to the start of the year. Just scything my way to mondo XP. Maybe it's just because I'm in need of some zoning out gameplay, but this is absolutely ticking the box for me.
Doubly hyped for the imminent expansion now!

I have rolled a new seasonal toon, Brian the Druid.
You people were not kidding about the levelling speed, it's now stupid fast. They're also throwing shit at you super quick, probs in the hope for longer engagement. I've opened my third 'cache thing' from the 'triune whatsit' and popped 4 rares, 2 legs and a unique that makes werewolf my true form.

Brian is rolling through veteran quite happily. Never used druid before but it's fun with some of the aspects available.
I had 2 wolves with me but then found an aspects that gave me an additional companion. 3 wolves and now they're werewolves. Then another that gives gives me additional (up to +3) wolves on kills so Im now ballin' around 6deep with a literal werewolf pack and they're buffed to lvl8. It's hilarious as they pounce all over slashing at all-comers.

Been playing a fireball sorc, good fun watching everything melt, though the amount of mobs & effects on screen can be bit seizure/lag inducing. The new activity is stupid fast xp & loot, you may as well just mainline that if you want to level up quickly. Thought about trying another build, but D4 is sorely missing the d3 style armory, and changing to a new build is right arse, you need hours of your life to do it, temped to just make another sorc.

Experiencing some of the endgame ish activities for the first time. Infernal Horde was good for getting some supremely quick levels in. Annoying thing is Tier 2 Compass is a cakewalk and Tier 3 is a catastrophe where I can barely last a minute at L85. Seems an odd step up. The Pillar in Cerrigar is similar, but at least there you can pick your tier from the drop down. Helltides are getting (predictably) easier too. Combining them with Whispers, then doing Infernal Horder when I get a Tier 2 compass is my primary route to loot right now. Has been odd not to have any quests on the go. There’s about half a dozen in each area left at most and I guess they’re found by picking up random drops or wotnot. Looking forward to the expansion.  |

Bit anticlimactic, to be honest. :-D
I'm nowhere near being able to do the final Lilith fight, nor any of the uber bosses, so I guess it's doing The Pit to get good enough to do the next tier of Infernal Horde. Rinse. Repeat.
Or just roll a new seasonal toon, which is what I did.

Dinged level 50 on Brian I've just discovered tempering. I'm just farming some xp in the last 2 areas to get the skill points and then I guess I'll have a go at the captsone for wt3. Can tell I've not played this for a while because I keep remembering things I need to go and do.

Why the fuck does this stupid game try and assume which ring I want to swap. Bastard stupid fuck.
Told it the ring I wanted to compare with and then swapped it to check how it affects stats. Brief scan and nope, don't want It so quick swap It back and you realise it's swapped the other fucking ring! The number of times this has happened is too many to count and I usually catch it ... until I didn't. Burned my Ancestral Earthbreaker. Sfdfthssdhth fuckn annoyed 😡
