Diablo (series)

So in the Slayer tier of the battle pass there is a challenge to kill a player in pvp. Could two clan mates go out there, ungroup and kill each other?
If it’s possible anyone want to do it some time?

i decided to try the capstone at 62 and walked right through him. WT4 though, man thats a tough sell at the moment. I did get a new ancestral sword with some decent rolls and spent a bunch to upgrade it the a muuuuuch better one dropped. I've just gone from 4,083 dmg to 5,764! I'm still a bit squishy but damn can I hit 'ARD!!!

Biggest problem a the moment right now is Veiled Crystal. I'm literally starved of the stuff and I'm hardly upgrading anything. I'm burning everything to get more but I'm getting hardly any

Yeah I noticed I was always lacking upgrade materials on my seasonal too, but never once had an issue on my barbarian. Almost every drop I got was salvaged on both. Definitely seems to have been tweaked.

Finding I don't have the motivation to log back in to D4, not sure why.

I can definitely see your POV here, but I'm hesitant to say I don't consider it to be a good game. Both times I levelled I was glued to it for a couple of days. But once I rip the needle out of my arm, I have no impulse to go and shoot it back up.
It may just be that the post-50 content is... Not yet there, really. Or at least the rewards for bothering to play passed 50 aren't worth it. I don't know. I never really played the previous Diablo games so there's no nostalgia baiting here, either.

Yeah, like I said, "as of right now". Diablo 3 started off pretty badly too, but eventually they made it good. So I'm (cautiously) hopeful that they can turn this into something I want to put dozens of hours into, I just don't see it at the moment.

The interest tapers off fast as there is nothing to do at the end. They had the campaign for the original 1-50 and then all this other 'stuff' was the endgame but the game currently doesn't work just using the 'stuff' for the 1-50 grind as well it's monotonous.

I pushed on with the sorc in eternal because it was still new but there is little impetus in seasonal. The hearts, while initially fun and added interesting changes to play are actually a PiTA when you want to swap your shit around. I know I want to use these 3 specific hearts so you finally get a good fucking roll on jewellery you can absolutely guarantee it's the wrong fucking socket meaning youve got to swap minimum 2 pieces + hearts to get it working again.

I'll keep dipping in but I think I'll drift off and play something zombie related for a bit

On the whole topic of ‘is this game good’, I have to say I do enjoy it. The balance is off, the nerfs have been excessive and hard to understand the reasoning why, and they’re a lot of bugs with skills and what not. Blizzard I hold in high regard with respect to code quality and design, but art aside, this feels a bit rushed.

I have been frustrated with the loot and end game but remain drawn in and enjoying it. The classes and builds do feel very different from each other. I enjoy the skill tree and making a build although the paragon board is a confusing mechanic for me. Way too complicated and difficult to respec.

Oh yeah and the fixed heart slots on jewellery in seasonal is so annoying. Let me change the slot at the workbench for the love of god!

this would be perfect. Ive got loads of the ichor stuff because I don't change the hearts so apart from stocking the best ones to use later when I actually get the right socket colour the rest have been burned for mats. I not gonna gamble for more as I have all I need.

I use the bottom right corner of my stash to put things in hoping to use soon. I've cycled rings and other gears pieces a few times from this temporary location.

Ive swapped the 'next' helm I'll use about 4 times now because I don't have the aspect to put on it (skelly warriors+2) and it's taken so long I've cleared sacred and now getting ancestral drops.

The rings are a similar deal but because I haven't got another wrathful heart of type I want them the other pieces are landlocked.

Still haven't seen the minion aspect I need and now level 65. I've gamba'd fucking loads of purple oobydoobies with the street urchin and got fuck all for it.

The rings and amulets are completely insipid in this compared to the earlier games.

Level 46 and I finally unlock the Golem on my build. It’s been unlocked for ages, but I didn’t know you had to add the command to the key bar thing.

I thought it was only certain dead enemies that you could raise as a Golem, so fuck my life. 😬😂
