Honestly, I don't think I would - after all, I was in favour of continuing Arrested Development, and look how that turned out.

I agree with Uly. The only one mentioned I'd want revived is Netflix's Cowboy Bebop, because NF just gave it a week and went "welp, people aren't watching, time to pull the plug." They really should have had more faith in it, or let people come around to it in time. I'll admit that I'm someone who watched the first episode on launch night and thought "this isn't my Cowboy Bebop!" But once you get over the fact that it's not so much a live action recreation rather than a remix of the mood and elements into its own thing, it's a really fun watch.

Nah, Peep Show ran its course. I hardly ever rewatch it now. I think it stops being really good around series 4 - the wedding was a good place to end it. Not that it was bad at the end but it definitely didn't have the same impact, despite some good episodes. Sorry, you're very wrong. It's surprisingly consistent throughout, as confirmed in my most recent of yearly re-watches. And I used to be a 'it's not as good after season two' cunt. I think a reunion episode needs to happen really, fifty years old and still completely codependent. Super Hans comes out of a coma in the year 2032, and tracks down Jez and Mark who are the only ones who can explain, via flashback, exactly what shameful thing they did that put him in said coma in first place.

I need to catch up with The 100. It is obviously so very YA, but I loved how they manage to raise the stakes every series. It was seriously ridiculous yet managed to make sense. I would like more TNG era trek and also a million bucks. The OA is a good shout but I also really liked it's meta ending as is.

I don't really want to see a full return, but I would like to see The X-Files' proper conclusion, the colonization storyline. Of course they could have done it in the revival, but obviously Carter decided to fuck it all off because he's creatively incontinent.

Add my voice to those that would love a return of Dead Like Me. One of favourite TV shows ever. I know they did a film that I haven’t seen yet. May have to get around too watching that eventually. But I think Mandi Pantankin (SP?!) dropped out.

For the Dungeons & Dragons fans, there's a fan made episode of the final script, with at least one of the actors reprising their role, as I recall:

So mine, Vagrant Queen cancelled by SYFY after 1 season, super cheesy but struck a chord with me Freeks and Geeks was one I remember fondly that could have used more series Reminder to self: Don't forget to check out Vagrant Queen AGAIN. I wanted to say Freaks & Geeks... but I kinda like where they ended it. Add my voice to those that would love a return of Dead Like Me. One of favourite TV shows ever. I know they did a film that I haven’t seen yet. May have to get around too watching that eventually. But I think Mandi Pantankin (SP?!) dropped out. Same. I think I tend to do that, because there are a couple of shows where I haven't watched the final season / ending movie... maybe I just don't want it to be over. Community always wanted a final movie

Ash Vs evil dead would be a good show to bring back. It would, but given that Bruce Campbell was getting too old, I'm kinda glad they ended it the way they did. It was a cool ending. I got the feeling they were setting up a potential spin off with the rest of the team, but that didn't seem to happen. I'd have been down for a spin off with Kelly, Pablo, etc..

I honestly can't think of a series I'd like to see more episodes of, except maybe firefly, but there are dozens that could have ended earlier or needed a rewrite for the last couple seasons.

Netflix is filled with the unfinished corpses of series that never got an ending, none more devastating than The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. If anything needed a movie to tie things up it’s that. There’s characters we know don’t make it to the original films and characters in the film who don’t make an appearance - it was rife with more story potential. And Simon Pegg was great as The Chamberlain - the only real interesting character from the original film who never really got developed until the series came about.
But also a special mention to American Vandal. Not that it needed tying up or anything as each series was self contained, but I would have enjoyed another series or two of it at least.

Maximum Bob. Too good for the Yanks. They didn’t get it. Beau Bridges at his finest along with the other major cast members who understood what the series was all about. Shame the American audience didn’t.

No fans of The OA? It was cringey in places and could be infuriatingly obtuse but it was certainly original and you never knew where it was going. They clearly wanted to go full meta in season 3 though, so maybe its cancellation was for the best. Edit: OA, not OC lol. Was waiting for someone to say it. Went full on meta at the end of season 2 I wanted to see where that was going. Shame, loved it (despite its flaws).

My god that was fucking terrible TV! Even Samaire Armstrong couldn't keep my interest.

How about cancelling a series that's gone on far too long?
Simpsons at the #1 spot. No contest.
