Sadly not. I would eat that, but the missus and lad are heathens.

Your wording implies your fry-ups are not normal in some way... Normal, as in a pasta dish, or a pie or something and chips etc Whereas a fry up poos all over those We all remember salad cream curries Quaddy! What weird thing do you do to your fry-ups? Also, did you have the fry-up, and if so how was it?

Haha, nowt wrong with salad cream. I did the fry up in the end, but I forgot I didn't have sausages, doh, so it was just bacon rashers, some roasted tomatoes, garlic breaded mushrooms, spicy beans, scrambled eggs and some rounds of toast. I forgot to take a picture too, soz

Homemade burgers. SO…80/20 minced beef into 100 gram balls. Spot of sunflower oil in one of the cast iron skillets. Mash each phuqqa down with the cast iron burger press. Salt, pepper and flip as needed. MEANWHILE…Onions caramelising in the other cast iron skillet with some olive oil, and chunks of sweet potato roasting at 200° in chilli-infused oil. Yummington, but Messville. Cast iron. CAST IRON. (Cast iron)

Just bought an air fryer, looking forward to trying it out when it arrives, any thoughts, will it be the game changer the internet will have me believe or will it be up for sale on Marketplace in March?

Use solidly for a week or 2. Than gradually less and less before it collects dust next to the breadmaker.

It’s still our go-to way of making homemade chips, 2 years on.

Aye, it's one of the few of our kitchen gadgets that isn't hidden away in a cupboard. As soon as you get your head around the fact that it's not some magical physics defying deep fat fryer alternative, you should hopefully get some use out of it. They're small and convenient fan ovens, nothing more.
I don't have any specific recipes for it, mind you. Any leftovers that would just go soggy in the microwave? Chuck em in. Anything frozen that you'd normally cook in the oven like chips, fish fingers etc? Chuck em in. Fresh chips? Chuck em in.

I am told they also make great jacket spuds in 30 mins.

Yesterday I read a tip from a chef about cooking the perfect steak: sear it on both sides, then place in an oven (pre-heated, but now off) for the length of time it takes to drink a pint. Now, that is pretty variable. What would FontGeekers do for a lovely sirloin?

Mrs. M. likes her steak much more well done than mine, so I quite often finish hers off in the oven. Works a treat.

Thai takeaway with the missus. Had to go to the village over so the veg tempura was a bit soggy by the time we ate, but still worth the trek. Green curry and coconut rice.
Now I'm so full there's zero chance of any action tonight.

Went to one of these places which have various wee restaurants in it where you can all mill about and buy whatever scran you like and had chicken gyros. Nice.
Then had a crepe from somewhere else. In preparation for the wonder of shrove tuesday.
Sadly i was driving so the cocktail bar bit was ignored. 😢
Next time.

Pretty much, but with a bunch of pop up food places.
I'm sure it has a term that's more hipstery than a food court.

Well, seared both sides for 2.5 minutes, and now in the oven for ~5 mins. Generally only cook mine for 90-120 seconds each side any way! Bloody as hell imo.
