Now I know the contents of H-alphaFox's freezer. My brain just thought frozen fish fillets, not this.

It's the UK's most overrated food. I just find it meh. But I think we've done this one before.
I think it's because I grew up abroad and found the frites style chips and extras you get in them better than the UK equivalent.
Plus no matter how hard I try, I still gip at tasting any sea food. Every year I try and fail to like kt.

Same here. I have tried loads of different fish, from the bog standard to the more exotic. I just don't like it, I don't like the brinyness. If it was all there was to eat, I'd manage, but I like other things more.

Just get a battered sausage and saveloy with some curry sauce like normal people.

It says right here on the packet ´Britain´s favourite´ est 1805. It´s an institution. Fish and chips won by the way. It’s fairly safe to say that if you want to buy frozen battered fish in a supermarket in England then this is pretty much *the* brand. Weirdly fish fingers have to be birds eye though - not even sure if youngs do them.

A fight to the death with fish fingers would take a long time. Never mind a war.

Pretty sure I could kill someone pretty quickly with a pack of fish fingers.
I shall not be answering further questions on this subject.

Made with homemade chicken stock, ginger, garlic and some chicken pieces. Comforting, soothing and tasty. I suspect Danno's local congee emporium is not up to scratch if he's getting lumpy snot

Never actually heard of it, but the name sounds kind of gross when mentioned alongside snot. Congee(aled)

I love fish and chips, especially if it has been cooked in beef dripping. Mind you, this past year or so I've turned into some kind of deviant by getting chip shop curry sauce with it.

I'm surprised you know what chip shop curry sauce even is, Ecosse.

I'm surprised you know what chip shop curry sauce even is, Ecosse. I have encountered it, while chips dipped in curry sauce is fine in itself, it has no place on a fish supper. A hundred years of tradition ruined by perverts.

I kept my post simple.
The chippies around here do loads of different curry saucies, English, Irish, Chinese...

I genuinely feel sorry for people who don't like fish (and all other fussy eaters).

Definitely not fussy, and I do try regularly to see if I like it as I feel I'm missing out on loads of great stuff. ( And things to bbq)
It just doesn't agree with my palette at all. It all just tastes like how it smells which is fishy. And no it's not that it hasn't been fresh.
