Your choice of paté, bread, and accompaniments are key and I demand further detail in that regard A reasonable granary and some run of the mill Sainsbury's pate, having been through the whole load of different pate's at Sainsbury's this has been the clear winner for taste/texture etc. Some cornichons and tomato on the side and I'm on board

Why have paté when you could have foie gras? Cost, general availability at Tesco and ethics, I would suggest. Not that I can talk about the ethics. I've eaten it twice*. It was almost spiritually delicious, and I would probably eat it again if it wasn't a product of barbarity. *in my meagre defence I had no idea what was involved in its production on either occasion. I was just trying to get a rise out of a fellow forumite, not a serious question !

Went the big Sainsbos.
They do not stock Thai basil or holy basil.

There's one not too far away but I'll settle for regular basil for this week.

😂 Tonkatsu ramen would keep my wee tummy full for days never mind gorging on more grub with it. The horror!

You cleared Italys sea of fish and probably ate all of their pasta!

Need a convenient towel rail by the scales innit.
Supports the extra bit while a strategically placed mirror makes whatever you place there miraculously disappear!

Get more heat on your fat ecosse! I grilled it on a Weber E210 with both burners on full and pre-heated for 20 mins. Not sure how much hotter I can get it!

Good looking hunk of meat though, absolutely love cooking and eating steak. What sauce did you have?

+1 for the "a good steak shouldn't need any sauce" gang.
Although I bloody love chimichurri...

I'm a sauce guy, have to have it with everything. And chimichurri on grilled steaks elevates even the best bit of steak.
