No Margaritas it weird. Can't you just order their cheapest pizza and get them to hold the *insert topping here* The weird thing in Japan is that the pizza shops have these long menus with dozens and dozens of variations (normal, and also very weird japanese only ones). But if you ask 100 Japanese people what their favorite pizza is then 100 would say Margarita, and so that's all they ever order. So I don't get why the shops bother. That's the thing, they had the option to do that or create your own but since changing the menu they took that option away. We only discovered this last night hence the ranting. There is another place that we used to get pick ups from just added to the area but they open late, maybe will try them as they at least have margarita.

I thought you lived in Spain? Yes, it's thoroughly weird here. I was thinking of the garlic bread which is very much an Anglo thing that you wouldn’t expect to find in the likes of Spain and Italy. Considering that 90% of young kids only want margarita , not having it is properly bizarre. Now I want pizza, fuck this thread .

Dominos have garlic bread but they are the only ones I've seen plus they don't deliver here. Garlic in general doesn't seem to be used much here. Not even a garlic sauce on a Kebab, think I've covered that before.
But yeah I agree, to offer 20 different types and no margarita is odd. I would wager my lad is odder though, nothing wrong with ham and cheese.

Quite funny, I'd say that you can hardly eat Spanish food without garlic. Along with olive oil and parsley, it's in soooo many things, never mind garlic based dishes like sopa de ajo, gambas al ajillo, pa amb tomaquet and allioli!

My non-authentic bolognese here, with spirally, twisty pasta jobbies.
And Talisker.

All I'm asking is for a little of that aioli on a kebab. It's baffling. It could just be my local shop to be fair and not like we have been out much in the last 2 years. Home made kebabs from now on as they are really quite good. Anyway, got these chunky cubes of beef short ribs, they look great but no idea what to do with them. They'd take a smoke and reverse sear or maybe some sort of sticky recipe. I'll go through my books tomorrow but open for suggestions.

I'd love a Rendang but don't have the ingredients, plus just watched a Gordon Ramsey show where he had to make a Rendang against a famous local chef. Made me want Rendang more.
Rendang.

Shredded beef burritos is my next suggestion then. Easily get a rub and sauce going low and slow on the bbq.

Raging hangover today. Had a mortadella, taleggio and sauerkraut sandwich just now which hit the spot. Leftover chili for dinner I guess.

Moroccan lamb burger. Local butcher does them and they're absolutely gorgeous. I'll try not to ruin it with a processed cheese slice this time

Decided to give my work canteen one final chance before I ditch it forever and asked for a portion of Cajun chicken and was instead given chicken chunks in tomato sauce. In the bin you go, you flavourless heathen.

Kwoklyns Chinese chicken curry recipe, minus the mushrooms. It's smelling and tasting very good and the tin lids just did their best Somebody Feed Phil impression after tasting a bit on a spoon.

Since we don't have a "What's for breakfast tomorrow?" thread, posting these bread rolls (for use as a halloumi, avocado and chilli jam sandwich) here. photos.app.goo.gl/faMFpeTdPyh9PtdM7They're made with a tangzogh so they'll keep for a few days, which is convenient as I'm doing roast chicken tomorrow.

Those are some impressive looking rolls. We had miso cod tonight. Taking a stab at making kimchi later.

Banging looking rolls! I really need to get back into bread making. Lost my motivation when my sourdough starter died a pitiful death Coincidentally I found my copy of the art of fermentation earlier, so I'll be having a leaf through that first.
