Have you considered living off the land on a remote Hebridean island I read that the Castaway island is going up for sale again.

Marques Brownlee did a living with Cybertruck video and it looks so incredibly cheap

The door gap on that car is insane, it really looks like it's not closed and how there's rust on the wheels (even without a cover on them) so soon is bizarre.
Did laugh at the rear view mirror actually being a mirror, I had a lift off my nephew at the weekend in his works Ford van (maybe a Transit didn't really check) it has a rear camera it uses as its rear view "mirror" and I expected the same from the Cybertruck considering it has a rear camera but Tesla have skimped on that. My nephew did say that it stopped being useful in rainy conditions though.

That door seems well within the sub 10 micron accuracy range, I have no idea what you're on about. And the rust in the wheel is a clear intentional patina.

Thoughtful and quite balanced as usual from him, for me there are four absolute killer factors that would rule it out of consideration were I ever in the market for such a vehicle: (a) build quality, (b) lack of dashboard physical controls, (c) Musk, (d) no physical door handles = death trap.
The aesthetics like he says are marmite but I wouldn't necessarily rule it out on those grounds, I reckon if it hadn't been a Tesla people might be a lot more curious. But it's a Tesla so big nope.

I’d like to see someone test the frunk closing on a carrot or something to see how quickly it’ll remove your child’s fingers

They were Canadian too, so it's not hard to see why.

Yeah I thought a carrot was going to be sacrificed at that point, if it's not got any "thing in the way" detection that's a huge oversight.
There's some nice stuff in the car but the lack of buttons for basic controls is mental.

Every time I see a Tesla, inside or outside, I pat myself on the back for going Polestar.

Not that I'm likely to buy one in the near future but the Renault 5 just looks so damn great and it's not just because a petrol one was my first car.

Interesting that Zuckerberg’s robo-brain attempt to not get a share of the ‘social media elected Trump’ narrative blame this year is to start A/B testing the option to limit “political content” on Meta platforms.
I guess the big question is how they define political content and how limited the limits are but the default appears to be to have the limit on from the users who’ve been freaking out over it so far.
Its a long way from an ideal solution but social media companies have zero interest in promoting information literacy skills so I can see the appeal of thinking just trying to walk away might save him another awkward Senate committee grilling.

There's a bit towards the end of the vid where he flips the pedal cover over and shows its just plastic. Its the kind of quality fit and finish you'd be ashamed of in a Dacia.

That seems fine, we all have the accelerator jam in full speed from time to time. Just have to carefully weave through traffic using your rectangular steering wheel and hope people get out of the way of the 3 tonnes of rusting stainless steel travelling at 130mph.
