I saw some of the Don Lemon/Musk interview. Err, yeah that Elon...he really is thick as shit isn't he. My mind boggles that real life people actually look upto him as some kind of rockstar smart person. He honestly comes across more and more as a 13yr old teenager from 1998 who just logged off AIM because he just inherited a million dollars.

His problem is that whatever intelligence and skill he has is now completely overridden by the fact that he is a fucking arsehole. Every decision he makes is driven by insecurity and hubris like a billionaire Alan Partridge.

You just know if any of his employees were on 1/100th of the shit he's on he'd have them fired in an instant, of course.

I can’t think of a more mundane, route one ‘seek help’ way of being a billionaire than buying Twitter. Just look at that lunatic who wants to build and sail an exact replica of the titanic around the world. *thats* how to spunk money on something.

Watched about half of it so far. Never heard of Don Lemon. He seems pretty good. Not messing around. Did find the ketamine line of questioning a little bit on the nose.

Main striking thing about Elon is his complete lack of accountability. Even if you believe he is centrist, like he seems to think he is, he has absolutely no self-awareness about how influential he is when he spouts his theories. Or, he is completely aware and DGAF. I think he's wildly deluded and thinks he's fighting the good fight, but equally he might just be a sociopath.

First time I've signed into Twitter or even used it in months and I'm greeted with the owner posting this shit.

It still serves a purpose for those who need to be heard, but unless I heavily invest in blocking half the userbase at some point, I won't be bothering again.

The world's gone to shit - it hasn't really, whisper it, the vast majority of people are decent, kind and caring. It is a fucked up world we live in. At the moment we are going through the right-wing-dictatorial-phase which, roughly, happens every 60 years or so in recent times. It swings around. The last 120 years prove it. There is hope for your grandchildren yet! Happy days. ✌️

He's so dumb to realise that his ideal vision of people should be treated well based on their merits as a person is something that every sane person wants but he's actively contributing against it when he retweets some stats about black on white crime saying "Wow" or whatever

I don't really care about my grandkids as I'm not going to have any, but it would be nice to live out the rest of my life without a total seething contempt for society.

I do agree that most people are decent but a minority of cretins in power can really fuck things up.
