Did it 3rd go and the thing after 3rd go. I get why people would rage quit here. By the 3rd go I deciding on the winning method of standing in front of the rear fan and grabbing each one. My battery lasts long enough to throw 2 in the fan then I quickly kill the third one. Then immediately use another battery and repeat until the checkpoint. I’m glad I had upgraded my glove loads for that. As far as the thing after I just kited it around the central container whilst shooting and holding dodge and repeat. Took three attempts as first one I didn’t get what I was meant to do then second time I died on purpose as I realised I could quickly do it again with much less ammo wasted.

Kinesis is pretty overpowered, so yes, the best way to get past that section is to simply grab everyone, throw them off the platform, and recharge as needed.

I didn't upgrade kinesis. I managed to grab a number of them, but there's an element of being overwhelmed, and that the mechanic is woefully implemented.
Anyway.. that's me done talking about this. Lock thread.

Yeah you just grab them and chuck them off the edge. Done it twice now. Once on normal and once on hard. Never found it too bad. I believe it's been made easier since it was at launch as well.
Then again, I am pretty awesome at things.

I do think a decade of playing Souls-likes has made me impervious to difficulty spikes. I just sigh and reload.

The tram thing is a bit of a pain, yeah. Can't think what bit zisssou is thinking of with the platforms... I'm about 2/3 into the DLC. It's more of the same. But I like the same, so I'm enjoying it. Does it carry on from the ending? I wish the ending stopped 30’seconds earlier if you remember what I’m getting at. Very good game, enjoyed it a lot. 80/100

It does yeah. It’s fairly divisive but I actually liked it.

Good grief. This is terrible.
If you want to play video-game 'would you rather' I think I would actually play Alone in the Dark 2008 over this. If anything, it has the worst tutorial ever conceived. Okay let's rely on the manual instead... Oh... No manual.
The mediocre reviews were far too kind.

Oh behave, it's not that bad. There's such hyperbole with this game and I truly don't get it.

If you actually check out the meta critic score on it I think it’s about 70 so 7 out of 10. So that’s pretty good game but not goty etc. I would say it’s an 8 personally as although it has its flaws it was a good single player experience.

I haven't played it but it's the worst survival horror game since the Silent Hill 2 remake

The wunty protocol should of been a great game considering the budget and the history of the devs they got, it seems like they spent all the budget on the graphics and just shoved together some very average on the last stretch

Don’t forget the money they paid me to gush about it on here.

I think I would have absolutely hated the combat and binned the game off as a result had I not switched it to easy AND turned on most of the assists. Give that a try and you might, like me, end up really enjoying it.

Surprisingly, I found the combat very easy. I thought it would be unintuitive, but actually got the hang of it immediately, and every 1-vs-1 encounter was an absolute cakewalk. It was only whenever the game threw more than two enemies at me that things got dangerous.

Just throw all your early upgrades into the baton. As above it’s mostly a really easy game but there are a few nasty spikes but if you use the baton for all the normal bits you have loads of ammo for the nasty spikes. Generally in the bits with groups there are things like spikes on the wall, explosive barrels and ledge to throw them off.
