Sped my way through Wolf2 due to Gamepass expiry so didn't do any of the ubercommanders but did finish the main story on Bring 'em On difficulty. Some annoying spikes I had to repeat loads of times but got through it all in the end. 22/80 trophies and 310/1540 Gamerscore.17 hours according to Xbox app, 19 according to the game... Tried to grab collectables as I went but less rigourously in second half. Had some interesting levels and the usual pulp Machine Games Wolfenstein story. Graphics were pretty enough and the level designs weren't too bad bar the amount of difficulty spikes (or I am crap at this style of FPS).
Enough frustration to lower it to a 7.5.
Was going to try Young blood to finish off GP but doubt I can get it done in a day's play time ..

And last Gamepass game from this trial. Played through Streets of Rage 4 on normal with Floyd in single player. Xbox app says 7 hours bit I know it is less than 5... 325/1195 Gamerscore with 19/45 achievements. I did end up using the help me out options on continuing on the last level as the boss was a pain with limited lives. Mostly C grades with the odd B and an A. Never played SoR 1-3 bit enjoyed similar Capcom stuff so have it a go. The art style suited it quite nicely and controls were pretty tight. If I hadn't had the 1 day deadline I would have tried to master it more but may buy on console on the future.

Very enjoyable, I'm assuming the lack of a 3 on the title means it's not the third game proper as that was pretty short, particularly for the price. But good story and characters so very glad I played it.

Very good, obtuse in places but I do enjoy the 'wolf' style games so enjoyed that.
Currently about 20 hours into Tales of Arise which currently is a contender for game of the year, but need a new Switch game now...

Returned to it after last playing years ago (I'm doing this a lot lately!) Overall it was enjoyable but only at an hour or so at a time, the mission structure is very samey no matter what you are tasked with doing. The character rosta is large and the vast array of weapons and skills do negate the sometimes boredom however. Volition really missed a trick not making it drop in/drop out co-op though.

Hmm, the first two thirds were mostly great, but then a few miserable sections with frustrating EMMI encounters and boss fights all in quick succession really soured the game for me.
Don't know if I'll even bother trying to get all items, as any involving the finger mangling shinespark bullshit are just a recipe for chucking my Switch across the room.

Really good, took me and my brother about seven months to actually finish because of timings etc but around 12 hours long and so much variety, but all of it done really well.
Also finished Far Cry 6 but got a few bits to do on that. Now to start Mass Effect 3 and bosh out the trilogy this year!

Only played this for a few minutes as an 8 year old on my brothers PC at the time back in the 90s before playing on Xbox.
Game holds up very well but it's no doom. The double barrelled shotgun takes too many hits to kill enemies and them black goo monsters in episode 4 can fuck right off

Apparently with 65% of all content in 78 according to finish screen but I finished all side story's bar Amon and all School Missions. This Amon was annoying and very cheaty so gave up on even trying that one. Got 60% of trophies, not grinding the rest. Played in Japanese with English subs and voices were good.
Game story was quite well done and remained interesting throughout and the school stories weren't too bad, albeit with some annoying difficulty spikes, and had a nice enough story throughout. Revisiting Ijincho with Yagami was fun as was the return of beat'em up combat. It is a shame that we may not get any more due to the Johnnie's / PC argument. Did not buy DLC but may look at Kaito's Story DLC next year (even if I would have preferred a standalone physical release that I doubt we will see)
Elsewhere been playing a bit of Metroid Dread which may be my next focus before SMT V next week.
Slowed down a lot due to work and a long game so not sure if I will make 52 for the first time or not.
Edit - and played through Ground Zero Texas for a quick completion with the goo ending (not sure how to get the bad ending). I hoped this would be more like Corpse Killer bit it was quite different with weird aiming where hitting the target directly seems to miss as opposed to sweeping reticule across screen towards enemy and firing at correct time.
Other than that, enjoyed the cheesy video direction, acting and effects. The normal music was fine but the action scene 'music' sound was awful. May replay to unlock some more scenes some other time. Ultimately gave it a mediocre score even though I don't regret buying and playing it (still more fun than Night Trap/Double Switch)

Going back to the trilogy after so long has really reminded me why I loved it so much. 3 feels like a bit of a stripped back version of 2 which is weird, but still brilliant overall.
