What a start to the episode. Such pathos with the droid. Had me misting up a bit
Loved the last shot too. A piece of Andor dies on a beach, looking out over the ocean at a yellow sky. In another time and place a massive cloud and then tsunami appears from a near identical view

I really really really hope he isn’t. It would ruin the character for me. Felt the same, and this latest episode has leaned even further towards it imo. The prominent 'stick/cane' shot, the ease of the combat.... Ugh, I hope he's just good and the former is a red herring. We’ve seen the cane earlier, right? Episode 3. He had it when he lands on Ferrix. |

Yeah it's a staff or something, doesn't mean it can't be two things. Plus his ships weapon was basically.... well not pew pew lasers.
Not saying he is, could be from one that starts with an S and all could be from days long ago, say 15 years ago. For precedent see the Kenobi series.
But either way that was a great episode regardless. I'm so annoyed that there is only one left.

At least we know there is a guaranteed 12 more and that is all, so it will definitely end in the set-up for Rogue One and there’ll be no “well fuck if only” like with HBO shows.

Crime Greaseball from previous episode wants to marry his son to hers in arranged marriage as is ancient Whateverian custom. Daughter suddenly presents with bizarre interest in ancient Whateverian customs. I think it’s a little poorly set up given the daughter was previously introduced as some kind of rebel or something. Maybe she’s doing it to piss Mum off, like Saffy being a square in AbFab. |

Mon Mothma's daughter with her becoming more of a Chandrilan traditionalist she fears she'll end up like her, in an arranged marriage at a young age (even if she doesn't marry Davo Sculdun's son) and she really doesn't want that to happen. |

That was unexpectedly understated, but still engaging. It's got such great pacing I didn't notice time fly by and then it was over.
Last episode has a lot to do though! I guess a big escapade at the send off.

Everyone is doing a fantastic job even the props, which B2 is but certainly doesn't feel like it.

It’s truly remarkable this show.
The movements of the droids head alone. How they convey such emotion. From a toaster.
I’d love to know how Lucas feels about this show
I haven’t felt this enthralled and engaged to a prestige tv show since S1 of GoT. Had to wait till end of that with Sean getting his heid lopped off to go ‘wow, this is something special’. Andor is hitting that note multiple times an episode
