Have they released a patch yet?

I stopped playing and got a refund after one too many bugs; the last one made the game unplayable. Essentially everyone I met started attacking me for no reason, no matter where I was, and the saves didn't go far enough back to keep it from happening unless I used one that was hours of boring as fuck fetch quest behind.

ed: nm, just gone through all the patch notes for the various updates, found a thread of people on reddit with the same issue and no relief in sight. Apparently, it's caused by some remnant of hostile or criminal activity that you didn't take care of previously somehow catching up to you. I stole a bunch of stuff from a store's stash that was randomly in the middle of a street, so that might have done it. No clue, but I have no save remotely close so I can't do shit about it. 

I found a potential workaround, but it'll only work on the PC version. SetCrimeGold 0 in the console should remove your wanted level, or at least stop everyone from being hostile. Well, in theory, it used to work in Oblivion and Skyrim at any rate and it's still the same stupid physics pinging engine and the command still seems to be listed in Starfield according to google.

I might buy the game again, but I don't know how many tedious fetch quests I can pull off before getting close to the mid-game meat.

It’s SO missable - I just went and found it, and I’d looked over it countless times because it’s not a safe- style container like the one in your room in the lodge, it’s a standard small one, looks about the size of a shoe box. I genuinely wonder if it’s a bug not a feature.

Anyway thanks for the tip, sorted my inconvenient resource mountain right out.

Edit, after some testing you can't. The button for heal is utilised for photomode when scanning in flight mode. Annoying is what it is!

Supposedly it’s the personality that counts. Counts for nothing unless you can’t stop a room full of conversations as your face enters the room first imo!

I had Sarah giving me Lubrication, Stalks and Hallucinogens. I couldn't take her telling me off seriously after that. Femdom vibes.

Got another nice ship from faction quest, better than the razorleaf (although the rooms don't have useful things like the RL) But much better sheilds, weapons etc. its called Star Eagle (although its shitty brown at the start)

Pretty sure this is the ship people are turning into the Normandy from mass effect (also has much better storage than any ship I've got so far)

I just spunked 400k+ on the Narwhal ship. Spent a little while getting lost in it and regretting my purchase, then finished the game. Money well spent...

Walter's been in the mission we've just done on Neon. He's more my cup of tea in this game where I haven't found anyone to like after 60 hours so playing rogue.

So looking like I need to start trying to up my piloting skills to get on with some better ships then?

I have max carrying load (+100kg! \o/) and max security, and was aiming to get full mods for suits and weapons done too along with stealth, but here's another thing to add to the list too!

My partner just "got stuck in a tree" so tried to reload the game, and now it crashes after 30 seconds no matter which savegame she tries including one from hours ago.

So. Yeah. 80+ hours down the shitter. Beware trees, I guess? You have been warned.
