I like commander Tuala and his reverse moustache type thing. Always gets a chuckle out of me.

I quite like the way your outpost warehouses have a capacity percentage indicator.

Sarah after "resting" with my character in a fully crewed ship. "I could use a med pack or something" đź’€ Did you select the huge penis? It will drain medical supplies and makes your oxygen meter deplete more quickly. And people leave you. They make some excuse and they leave.

Having never known what it's like, in starfield or otherwise, I can't verify the above statement.

Another bug is the gun racks in your ship if you have them. If you put guns there, next time you do a mission etc all the stuff is gone, not in the ship cargo or on one of the crew. Just gone
Also did a mission on ice planet and one the stupid NPC kept getting his fat head in the way when talking to the boss of the CR

I bounced off outposts hard in Fallout 4 but spent some time building one on a moon with one hell of a view yesterday and found it to be a very welcome change of pace. Just me and my gardening robot (no garden) building away under the quiet watchful gaze of an orbiting planet.
Of course, they couldn't miss an opportunity to limit how much fun you're allowed to have by gating off all the good stuff until really deep into the upgrade tree but I like the idea here much more than F4.

Same happened to me. Lost some decent weapons. Very irritating.

I haven't had any of the wierd shit happening during character interactions yet. In fact apart from a sound bug on Kreet where a pirate gun wouldn't stop I've not had anything.
They may be jank but sometimes it's funny as hell. Brahmin or a deathclaw coming piling into a conversation.

I bet there will be build starbase/space station DLC, it seems logical as they always do some form of base stuff or modders will do it
This ship what someone made is great

The NPC thing I mentioned in my last post This is basically what happened to me when I was talking to the couple who owned a shop on Neon. The wife was bitching about her dumb husband and his daft head kept looming into view.

Built my first base yesterday on the planet that is apparently the same one as Reach from the Halo-verse (Eridani-something).
I built a few warehouse containers, a wind turbine and a laser turret. As I'm looking at hab modules, the turret suddenly explodes and the turbine stops turning. A band of Eliptic Mercs were attacking within literally moments of my first groundbreaking. Good thing I had the defensive power of both Vasco and Andreja to hand.

You need to give them ammo as well (just 1 will do). They eventually pick some up if you don't and start using the gun.

Ok, I previously said I was in favour of encumbrance but I’m starting to get a bit pissed off with it now. I have too many resources!
I tried expanding my outpost with solid storage modules and warehouses for all my crafting resources, but ran out of the aluminium, iron and tungsten needed to build them. Completely filled 9 containers, but still had 600kg to haul around with me or my ship, so back it all went to the Box Of Infinite Holding in the Lodge.
Then I read in a guide that the Transfer Container has loads more storage - 200kg versus 75kg for the containers. Great! I thought- I’ll just build a load of those. After gathering the aluminium and tungsten I’d need, I flew back to my outpost and: nope you’re only allowed one transfer container per outpost.
So my current options seem to be- buy a massive cargo ship and take everything with me (but I’m only an A class pilot and they all seem too lightly armed), or keep using the Box Of Holding back at the Lodge - which means lugging over a tonne of stuff down two flights of stairs every time I want to use the crafting tables in the basement.
Can anyone offer a hint as to how soon I can get my own house, and does it come with an infinite storage locker like the one at the Lodge?

Also reckon I spend more time in inventory management than actually playing quests etc. mildly frustrating.
I think just a small range of weapons (4-5) and one item of each armour slot plus the aid items is around 130 or so of my 185kg capacity. Seems too punishing, never remember it being a major issue in fallout/Skyrim etc.

Are you sure you’re not accidentally carrying Ship Parts in the Aid section of your inventory? Or loads of heavy foods?

Well, crap, if even the player houses don’t have infinite storage I’m definitely sticking with the Lodge until I can afford a ship that’s huge AND heavily armed.

WHAT. I already have that ship. Can you use items from the storage crate for crafting if your ship’s nearby, or do you still have to transfer them to your inventory? Edit- oh ok not unlimited, I’ll still check it out later though thanks

It uses mats straight out of the storage so you don’t need to move anything.

I can’t build enough storage at the outpost, and my ship storage is “only” 1000 so if I put all my resources in it, I don’t have room for anything else.

I keep all my resources in the unlimted storage box next to the research bench on the lodge basement. All the crafting tables are there so you never need them anywhere else until you get into outposts. There is also a safe in your room that had unlimited storage as well.
Handy hint:
Quick save just before an elite enemy dies, that way if you don't like the special drop you can reload and get another one.

Anybody know how to change the keybind for photomode when scanning in flight?
I keep putting myself in photomode trying to find all the ships I've just 'sploded.

Doing a faction mission called first to fight, first to die. Makes call of duty look like chess in terms of mindless shooting . Its ridiculous the amount of ammo used
