I found a shotgun in a locked glass case that was presumably supposed to have been mounted vertically, but was instead horizontal with the stock clipping out of the side. Needless to say, it was accessible. |

The impression I get about BG3 is that it’s Divinity Original Sin, with a D&D skin. Which in itself is fine, but I wouldn’t call that boundary pushing either. I really doubt it would be the mega smash hit that it is if you were right. They must have made serious strides from DOS for it to appeal to so many people. |

Also the ship builder is completely broken in ultra wide, you can’t select components properly.

DOS2 also received huge critical acclaim even if it didn't translate to sales.
I've played DOS2 and from what I've seen from BG3 spooky's statement doesn't look far off.

Yeah, mouse position seems to offset more from where it thinks it is the further from the left hand side you go. Running it in a regular window fixes it, so I've been switching between that and borderless when editing. Same issue when picking random spot on a planet to land. |

I'm usually up at this time so I might just fire it up so it unlocks the files .. maybe dip in and setup my settings/comfortable controls .. perhaps play any opening.

I'm such a hoarder that I keep running out of space on my ship. It's mostly the crafting materials and resources I pick up thinking I'll need a bunch of them at some point, but essentially haven't used at all yet.
Think I finally have the solution though. I've built myself a base round the corner on Jemison where I can land and dump everything into warehouses and cargo containers. Not very creative but it's freed up so much space that I can happily carry on collecting and hoarding.
My first proper taste of base building wasn't great. Annoying, overly finicky about positioning and janky, just as it was in Fall Out. Doubt I'll be doing more than the minimum unless there's a real gameplay advantage to do so.
Still feels like a massive mothership rather than land base makes more sense but we shall see, maybe mining is amazing.

I'm having a thoroughly crashtastic time with this. Had multiple crash to desktop last night. Seem to be mainly on transitions from the menu back to the main game. Once it happened when I accidentally hit the print screen button.
Bonus points for then sometimes refusing to restart even after a hard reset.
Ironic given I'm playing this on an AMD GPU as well.
