To be fair, those show-off-y gaming PCs with the Christmas lighting you see in many PC gaming videos are indeed far uglier than any console I've ever seen.

PC gamers think a glass case with multi coloured LEDs everywhere and backlit keyboards look cool so no one cares what they think Oh well, it makes much more sense to put PC hardware into a console case anyway. |

You can also get anatomically shaped hot water bottles.
