If Ukraine can’t host it can we offer them Wembley, it’ll sell out over and over again

It kind of makes what's happening in Ukraine worth it for them to win Eurovision. With a bit of luck Putin nukes one of our cities and we'll be a shoe in for next year. Just one of the ones that don't matter like Birmingham.

Or Coventry, because no one would notice the difference.

Coventry would be fine as it's basically a massive nuclear bunker anyway.

I can just imagine the typical DM readers response if we actually host it... Delicious!

Add that to Boris' achievement list:
Got Brexit done Got Covid done with a world-beating vaccine Brought Eurovision to ARE land away from those silly remoaners

Of course their could be a rug pull and the BBC saying they can't afford it because of the cost due to this government cutting funding.

I really hope it's a given that Ukrainian presenters host and that the video shorts before each act are of Ukraine.... basically as if it were in Ukraine.

I really hope it's a given that Ukrainian presenters host and that the video shorts before each act are of Ukraine.... basically as if it were in Ukraine. To be fair, this seems to be the case. They have said it will still be a celebration of Ukrainian's history and culture. Might be mixed presenting I guess, but I would expect it will be Ukrainian's Eurovision that just so happens to be hosted in the UK.

Imagine how shit the Ukrainian song is going to have to be so they don’t win it twice.

You'd hope the war is long done by then... And not in Putin's favour...

It's a fever dream and a half, to say the least, but at least it's memorable and the message is nice

My wife had banned me from trying to go but by the sounds of it the ticket sales for this were another massive Ticketmaster shitfest
They should’ve made it a lottery

For a second then, I thought we were sending Madonna
After all the effort put in last year...we've reverted to something that sounds something that's already been a Eurovision entry Unless it's a deliberate attempt to not have to host it two years on the bounce.

Its like that “we’ve got x at home” meme but for Demo Lovato
I still think SuRie deserved more credit for 2018 despite the Lee Nelson guy trying to fuck it up for her by rushing the stage.

Popped up to Liverpool for a pilgrimage to the Euro-village as a promise to my daughter, was good, got to see a couple of the songs live. The setup there is vast and Liverpool city in going all in. Worth a visit!
