Part of me wishes it had been made BC on Xbox but then I watched Dan play it on GB and it reminded me of all the stuff I don't want to have to deal with again.

I’ve been bashing through sonic generations again in 4k 60fps on series x. It really is bordering on being a classic.

I don't even want to deal with them once. I finished the Silver boss fight, uninstalled the game and never looked back. Good thing those five bucks were wallet credit in the first place. |

Taaake THIS!" however many times while you can't even try to get up gets old very fast... |

I thought worse, but then, it's not like those are amazing scores either.
Suppose I might give it a look, eventually. Sonic games tend to drop in price quickly.

Is anyone surprised? The Switch couldn't even handle Sonic Forces well.
Multiplatfom games are never good on Switch, unless they're 2D sprite based.

It's a complete technical disaster even on ps5, look at skillups review to see how awful the pop in is. I hope the other reviewers are pointing it out.

According to hints dropped by DF, avoid if you can. Although that might be advice for the game in general, too.  I find myself intrigued by it myself, despite having zero nostalgia for Sonic. When it inevitably tanks, I might pick it up for buttons on PC so I can brute force through any issues it has. |

Definitely not winning any graphics awards. The pop up exists on Series X as well.
This is another game that could have done with scrapping the last gen versions but no way are they going to ignore the switch.
Controls are fine and the rush stages are fun.
Only played about 50 minutes though and not really had to battle any major enemies yet.
Music is lovely.

Been watching some footage and it's such an odd looking game. You've got this massive gulf between the landscape rendered in a realistic style and muted colour palette, then what looks to be a whole load of random assets ported in from a different game. Nothing about it screams Sonic to me. It looks like a Halo infinite mod.

Yeah, that open world stuff looks really bland and empty. The launch trailer showed a bit of what is presumably Green Zone though and looked really great. Why they didn't just make an open world that looked like that, I have no idea.
