If they want to go to all that effort I wouldn't say no, but I would have been just as happy with ports of the HD version of Jet Set Radio.
I guess this means they've finally got to fix those controls.

You would think a port of the newer and unavailable since the orignal XBox sequel would be something they would consider too. Surely an easier sell in some ways as they streamlined it. I would take a double pack though. The free to play game sounds pointless though.

This probably makes sense (the pivot to multiplayer open world) given that I think they'd be hard pushed selling a full priced arcade game to the masses these days. Open and undateable with fortnite style tie-ins with other brands could definitely work to make it profitable.

Think it'll prob be a battle royale, let's be real. So long as there's the equivalent of a 'Classic' or 'Arcade' mode that is the traditional game then I'm OK with it

The fact that it's a GaaS with real people pushing you off and intentionally crashing into you takes the fun out of that for me.

This seems like the best place to post this; a while ago a Sega executive confirmed during interview that a new Virtua Fighter is being developed. This lead to a lot of excitement and speculation from the FGC! VF is an incredible fighting game series which is way overdue an update. Turns out this new VF is.. VF5 on Steam. Finally, PC players will be able to play a 14 year old (if we’re being kind) fighting game.  |

I don't follow VF or fighting games, so I have no idea what any of that means. It looks kinda cool though.
I appreciate that they've mainly managed to make their character models not weird and dodgy. Although they could use a bit of help with the English naming.
