Have you recently discovered a certain subreddit dogbot ?  I am definitely trying to cycle more these days. I haven't had too many incidents with motorists but it is incredibly frustrating to see how many people continue to use their phones while driving and I will admit to having challenged a few of them about it even if it does make me look like a tool. My city has also committed to installing just under 200km of segregated bike lanes which is great, unfortunately it's 200km over the next 10 years... |

Yeah, when I started on the motorbike I used to think cars deliberately cut me off etc. Gradually came to realise it is just laziness and not paying attention. I don't think I have ever seen someone deliberately sideswipe a cyclist, but many times the driver didn't notice them and was weaving while on the phone or radio.
So stupidity rather than deliberate. Still better than cyclists though, they actively act dangerous running red lights. Cars are more dangerous, but I hate cyclists more as they choose to be stupid whereas cars thend to be ignorantly so.

There are irresponsible people on both sides- it’s not a cyclist vs motorist thing, it’s a who does the most harm has the most responsibility thing.

I do get annoyed when bikes slow me down but that's entirely a flaw in my character and nothing to do with them. So I always give them a wide berth and don't overtake when I might have to swerve in too quickly. I really don't want to be responsible for killing someone. |

The sheer amount of cuntery I encounter from cuntish drivers (I'm a driver) on a daily basis is mind boggling. Just take the average roundabout and there will be several cunt drivers either not indicating when they're turning left meaning I could have pulled out but am stuck here like a melon, or indicating right but they actually pull off left without bothering to indicate, or the cunt not indicating but are turning right from the other side of the roundabout at 40mph so you have to slam your brakes, or the cunt at a mini roundabout who's to your left indicating right and you pull out as they're blocking the side your giving way to but then you find this cunt COMING directly at you because he's DOING A CUNTING UTURN ON A MINI ROUNDABOUT. |

Drivers that indicate right to exit a roundabout are my biggest annoyance.
That and slow cyclists on country lanes that don’t pull to one side occasionally to let the 2 mile queue past.

Ah the old driver cunts are the worst.
As I walked up to my car last year an old cunt had pulled up next to mine too close and was trying to get out. He was struggling and his wife was moaning away and he kept slamming his door into the side of my car, hard. Needless to say I called him a cunt, well an old cunt to be precise. He then blamed me for parking too far over, so I called him a stupid cunt, it's obviously my fault that he's slamming my car. I was in a rental and luckily I never got charged but he fucking dented the door.
