Damn, that is a big drop. Definitely won't be bothering then.
Think Valve hinted they were going to be incremental hardware updates to it, so wouldn't be surprised if there is another one in a couple of years.

Haven’t checked it out but I think there’s a beta out that lets you change the colour temperature of the lcd screen which apparently makes it a look better. Can’t install updates right now because dual booting win11 and SteamOS is kind of a hassle, need to install a launcher first.

Oh shit, I haven't handed mine in yet but I've technically sold it to cex for £319. Hope they don't renege. I don't think they'll renege, you have 3 days at the price you booked in at. Where you may have an issue though is if they say it's not an A, it's a B and therefore offer you the new B price. CEX near me have become really strict on A grade stuff, basically has to be shrinkwrapped and untouched. |

I had the sleeve the deck was in, the plastic bag that was in, the box for the plug AND the box it all came in and they still only gave me a B  . Edit: but I did it yesterday and got £278. Crazy drop in price in just 24 hours. |

Considering getting one of these and kinda gutted I spunked my cash on a Quest 3 last month, would have waited if I knew about the OLED Deck.
For emudeck, how easy is it to get ROMS nowadays? I'm so out the loop.

You don’t even need torrents etc for roms. Just Google <name of game> rom and you’re pretty much guaranteed to find a site blatantly hosting it

Okay, I’m on 3.5.6 now and that option to change screen colour temperature and vibrance helps a lot, crazy that they’ve only added it now.
Finally swapped out the SSD with a 1TB drive, half of it for SteamOS and half of it for Win11.

Steam deck tools works great for win 11, gives you the majority of options steamos does with refresh rate etc.

Anybody got any significant delivery updates? Mine has been in transit to the 'final parcel centre' since Monday - so only about 36 hours (shipping from The Netherlands) but it feels like an eternity.
