Eying an LG C3 once again. Missed out on it last Prime and decided not to bother as my current Sony xf9005 was good enough. OLED 120hz at 4k with variable refresh rate though... That set you have has decent peak brightness and good local dimming. I have an xh and it's great with film and uhd content. However, Sony lied /overpromised on the gaming capability of their top led tvs r/t 4k, 120, vrr, so once this one is done I'll be getting something else.

There was a period of maybe 6 months where they always waited at the door until you answered. These days they're usually driving off at 60Mph by the time I get to the door. So some of the stuff I ordered just after midnight didn't get delivered at my wife's work place today. Amazon message Unfortunately, we ran into an issue when attempting your delivery. We will try again. The issue being the driver drove into the barrier on the entrance to the carpark and drove away. Why not just make the delivery then drive away??

When I bought it, it was probably the best non-OLED I could get at the size (49/50"). It is still fine and isn't showing any real signs of deteriorating, but I know an OLED would be better for all content. And for games, the higher refresh rate and the VRR would be very beneficial. Plus, the Sony/Android software is really shit.

It's the Ninja Double Stack XL I've got my eye on. Pwhhoooor. We've got the Dual Zone one. It is immense. The Double Stack actually does look a lot better for a smaller kitchen counter.. We’ve got the Dual Zone / Megazone here. High recommend if you can find the space for it - but can see the appeal of a vertical one that takes up less counter space.

You mean Amazon drivers round your way *don't* just abandon your purchases on your doorstep regardless of whether you're in or not? I genuinely can't remember the last time I even got to the door before the Amazon van had already fucked off! I could be on the moon, they'd still just dump shite on my doorstep and leg it. I'm in Japan, so if they miss you they leave a little form and you go online or call an automated number and pick the time slot when you'd like it redelivered. The delivery companies here are actually able to deliver stuff. It was a big shock when I first arrived.

Well, they have little witches on flying brooms to deliver stuff in Japan, so obviously it will be better than anywhere else.
