Taking the pedals off is a good idea, as long as the bike isn't too big or heavy. That's what I did when my eldest moved from balance bike to pedal bike, though I put them back on after a few days and didn't bother with the youngest.
Had a mate who's youngest daughter was using his son's old bike for about 6 months and never really got the hang of it. It was just too big for her though. Gave him one of our old ones which was a few inches smaller and she was cycling around by the end of the day.

Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis just took me only seven seconds to download and install from Steam. I love you, fast internets.

I still give myself a little kick every time someone mentions Indiana, seeing as I manged to name my youngest's middle name as Indiana!

Went to the dentist, got an xray that confirmed I don't need a wisdom tooth out and was told to push back next week's hygienist appointment by 6 months as my pearly whites are pearly white enough. Double win which I'm now celebrating with enamel-damaging coffee and a root-rotting belgian bun.

When I was a kid, my mum always took me for a celebratory gingerbread man at the bakery near the dentists. Always struck me as odd, especially as my teeth were shiiiit.

Just took a look to see what it was all about but all his spats today seen to have been with pro-Brexiteers...uh-oh. He might not be the moron 😉 I voted remain. We had the best deal ever. If we could rejoin on those terms, I would be fully in favour. All my argument was, was that rejoining the EU was basically zealotry at this point. It's ideology, not pragmatism at this point. I have said that I would be fully in favour of joining the SM and CU. I've been called a moron all day, but no one had been able to tell me why. I will reiterate, our problems run much deeper than 'just' leaving the EU, any politics that 'just' states 'we should just rejoin the EU' and that will solve all of our problems is naive at best. If the option of a fully federalised europe was on the table, I would vote for it. So yes, he is a moron because his argument is not based in reality.

To be fair, I didn't read all the comments so don't think I saw your responses to him, I was also Remain and to be honest have always said we should rejoin no matter what...but, I admit to not knowing if it would be for the best right now (not knowing the intricacies of everything), I'm just still sore about the fucking result of the vote in the first place.
I think some blind zeal to wanting to rejoin is expected though, as many of us didn't fucking want it. Fully appreciate it's an easy thing to blame the current state of the country at, but nobody can name one thing that has changed for the better because of leaving. So whilst it may seem moronic, the zeal behind wanting to rejoin is entirely justified in my view.

I just think rejoining is not the panacea people think it is. I also think that thinking that brexit is the only thing that's fucking the economy, lets the Tories off. It's all 'exogenous' shocks again. Nothing to see here gov.
