Handing in your notice has to be one of the most satisfying feelings there is. Just wish I could've done it in person last time. Oh it really is. I remember when I gave mine in before I got my first teaching job and it actually felt like a physical weight was being lifted from me and I just felt so happy knowing that there was an end. My last day was cathartic as hell. |

Popped into B&Q to get some thin plywood cut up to line my garage workbench with (and also so that I could fit it in the car), turns out they didn't have any 6mm in stock so I ummed and ahhed and eventually thought stuff it I'll buy the next size up (more £), turns out the sheet I chose was a bit warped so they did it for half price, it'll be screwed down so no problem, so bagged a thicker sheet for sod all.

We found what may be the last bottle of Chovi Hot Kebab sauce in existence in the back of a cupboard.
This is the only type of sauce our eldest likes on his burgers or hot dogs so after months without having any we now have one last bottle.
There was much rejoicing.

Two cars pull in same time as me. They make a beeline for back of queue through parking lot. I take longer way to normal queue lane. Anyway, two peeps beat me, second is super aggressive. Then third car, which pulled in later, even more aggressive. Trying to shove her car in front of mine. I have pleasant words to her attitude ones - nothing brings me more pleasure than countering dickheadedness with over the top pleasantness- and she almost mounts kern to get in front of me. Let her, it’s fucking coffee.
Fourth car beckons me in to the space, rolls window down to join me in taking the piss
Anyway, get my coffee. Is handed to me “lady four vehicles behind paid for this. Said she saw you let people in, were being kind, someone was very rude to you”
Made my morning
Oh, and top it off. At Walmart, kept walking up to woman who had cut me off first. She still looked flustered. I chuckled.

Talking cunts in cars I had someone right up my arse today, on a long and winding country road. They were in a golf and it was full of people. I immediately pointed at my dash cam to try and get them to back off, they didn't, so I *had* to slow down to a crawl round each corner. I *had* to.
I knew that there was a long straight coming up in a bit, so I took enormous glee in speeding up out of the last corner, after they clearly thought that I'd be a slow poke. Hahaha I'm so petty.

I did exactly that last week with a twat that pulled a ridiculously dangerous overtaking manoeuvre on me. He then sped off up the road, slowed down and brake-tested me a couple of times, then zoomed off into the distance. A little later going round a corner there he is, now stopped on the main road, at which point he engages reverse and comes back at me. I stopped, he then sped off again. I could see traffic lights up ahead which meant there was every chance of me having to stop behind him and run the risk of an obvious maniac getting out of his car and getting physical, so I did a Brave Sir Robin in the other direction.
Moral of the story - winding up bad drivers may not be a good move.

I have an old Canon laser MFP and while the scanner works fine without a driver, I had no working printer driver for years now. Just looked at their website and they published a new one just last month. Won't be able to test for a while yet, so this may be premature, but nice Canon people are nice.

Gotta be very careful how you react to bad drivers around here. Extremely high chance that they have a loaded firearm in their vehicle.
You’d think such concerns would lessen road rage incidents. Funny thing; they still happen just as often. Only now people get killed as a result.
