I'd managed to miss anything by Sam Fender up until catching up on some coverage.
The Springsteen influence is defintely front and center isn't it!?
No bad thing and he defintely got the crowd going. Quite enjoyed that set.
Haim, Wolf Alice and Wet Leg got a couple of tracks before I switched over.
I guess the live streams get chopped off so if you are playing catchup you risk missing some of a set? Got about 4 tracks into Squid and then lost the stream and yet to find it anywhere.

Big Springsteen influence for sure. Some of the stuff sounds exactly like the later Gaslight Anthem albums to me too but then they were all about Springsteen as well.

I was expecting a full Wolf Alice set but only managed to find one song. Yeah I'd say you are bang on with the Springsteen influence. When I first heard 17 and Under I thought he sounded a fair bit like The Killers too, but then again they have a lot of Bruce too. Some of his stuff is a bit strummy straightforward but it feels authentic and he's quite humble and likeable. |

What I really appreciate, just having watched Dr Strange 2 and currentLy enjoying Ms Marvel, is that browsing through some Glasto, music labels seem to have finally realised that you don’t need to be blonde and skinny to sell record and headline festivals.

Maybe it's like when Bowie headlined and only allowed them to film an hour of his set? Maybe they have to contractually show it on a delay? (pure speculation) (not impatiently waiting for Macca at all, no)

I watched her set yesterday without knowing much about her. Ran through both albums today and rewatching it on UHD with headphones is much better
For a single performer she really seemed at ease on such a big stage. That’s LA confidence I suppose.

The live TV and iPlayer combination is a real mess. I can’ see to navigate to what I want without having to switch between multiple sources. Can’t they just make it a bit easier?

Noel was OK. Good even. He doesn't have the same presence as his brother and his HFB material is a real mixed bag.
Paul McCartney is f*cking excellent as always. His band is ace too.
