Nice write up. I also liked bimbling along with my chatty comrades to the next adventure in the original. Although the writer knocks the graphics of DD1, I thought the lighting was second to none.

They were unique I guess, but yeah, it's a game that does pitch black very well. I've never shat myself at night before in a game.

I was a bit worried that EG is reporting the PEGI rating says it’ll have in-game purchases… presumably cosmetics to dress up your Pawn…
That’d be a shame, as a big part of the appeal of pawns from the first game was seeing other players’ creations. (And not just the ones in the silky underwear.)
Still, I’m definitely looking forward to it regardless.

It will most likely be costumes, especially for an RPG. |

Amazon US have the physical PS5 version listed with the correct release date, so hopefully that bodes well for a UK retail release as well.
