That was aces. I genuinely felt tense! I gave up on drama after Flash Forward let me down badly, but all the new SW has been great. Only thing I’m not sure about in this episode is BK and DV meeting and duelling . Not sure how that sits with comments in IV. |

I’ve only seen live action SW stuff and the inquisitors don’t make much sense to me. The third sister would surely have been knocked off by one of her colleagues.

It was a bit better this week even with some decisions by Obi-Wan. The Third Sister really sucks the life out of any scene she's in.

He never actually mentions when they last met, he was but the learner; and just that he feels a presence, that he leaves lingering. There is room to play with those lines. Absolutely loving it so far. |

I thought the third sister realised where the tunnels went and instead went around to the other side? Unless i wasn't paying attention, there was no indication she went in and directly followed Leia through the tunnel. |

You're right about that, maybe she went around. But I also wondered why they didn't bump into each other, so the lack of clarity seems like an editing failure. I'm not feeling a lot of this, it's high budget and unconvincing at the same time. The two main actors are carrying it.

I did find it amusing that Darth Vader couldn't go around the fire and instead watched the big lumbering droid very slowly cary Obi-wan away, as the storm troopers all just pissed about trying to find one person who was shooting at them. That said, I'm really digging it and it's easy to pick holes. It's not perfect, but none of Star Wars is. Nothing is. It's just damn good fun, and I think the TV format is perfectly suited to it. I just love the fact that across these TV shows we're able to spend so much time in this galaxy, no matter the imperfections. There will always be a part of me that gets a kick out of seeing storm troopers, x-wings, lightsabers - all that shit. |

The action scenes have been a bit poor, it just feels like if a bit more care was put in their construction, direction and editing this show would easily be the best Star Warsy thing. At least the character moments are great.

I’m honestly not bothered about the fight scenes, as it kind of works nicely as a bridge between the flippy jumpy wing chung stuff in the prequels and the slow lumbering lightsaber fights in 4, which are really jarring when you watch them back to back.
I know that’s probably not the intent but there we go.
