I laughed at how bad it was at times. “You’re an out-of-control Maverick!” dialogue trope came up from two different characters in some terrible dialogue scenes. Kidnappers foiled by thin branches and twigs that they couldn’t push through or step around or under. Out-of-continuity character death might at least reduce awkward dialogue in future. Once he gets off Tatooine at least it isn’t boring.[/spoiler]

That was... drivel.
By the numbers, bland, cheesy, awful dialogue and acting. The cash cow has been thoroughly milked dry.
It didn't even feel like star wars at times.

I know this is probably really low down the list of complaints ... but doing butchery in the middle of the dessert and just leaving the meat in large chunks on the work bench and walking away ... at least have them (or someone else) clean up!

We haven’t watched it yet, but that reminds of my brother’s and my amusement at the mess Ben leaves in the Mos Eisley cantina, whereas Han at least seems to pay for someone to clean up Greedo’s remains as he leaves, in A New Hope.

Just finished watching. Slow burn, and I don’t mind that at all. I’m easily pleased, remember? It felt like Star Wars to me, and that’ll do.

What I really don't want is an Obi Wan / Anakin showdown. The point of the line of "a presence I've not felt since..." was Vader talking about Mustafar. I never got the feeling that Vader fixated on Obi Wan in A New Hope. When they met he wasn't frothing at the mouth to kill him, just another chapter to close. Will be good to see him on-screen either way.
The girl playing Leia is just on the right side of sassy. She's doing a good job, just hope she doesn't cross into annoying
The woman playing that Inquisitor is weak as fuck though. Properly not buying into her.
Still feel they should have aged Evans McGregor a bit more to transition into Alec Guinness a bit easier.
Wasn't bad all in all. Just another Star Wars story I didn't need, but here we are...

Strangely terrible action sequences again, like The Book of Boba Fett, and even though it's an expensive show, some things still seem a little cheap. Something has been a little off about this and Boba Fett. I don't know if it's the Unreal virtual sets, COVID, or what, but it is all a bit flat.
Not terrible, but it didn't feel like a story that needed to be told.

I’ve not seen it yet but I’ve only watched 7 episodes of the Mandalorian and that felt more like punishment than entertainment. Not even started with Boba Fett
I wish I liked the Disney stuff as I love Star Wars but it’s just rubbish for the most part, empty and soulless

First two episodes of Obi-Wan, and the first teaser trailer for the Fallen Order sequel in the same day? Good time to be a Star Wars fan.
EDIT:
It's been confirmed that Survivor takes place five years after the end of Fallen Order, which puts it in roughly the same time frame as where Obi-Wan is now, ten years after Order 66.

This also maddened me. My pro-Star Wars housemate suggested there was another shift hiding just out of sight to continue, but I wasn’t buying it, that was a very end-of-the-day clock off.

I thought that was bloody great. Couple wee niggles but I’m comfortable to accept something that isn’t 100% perfection and enjoy the hell out of it
My daughter really dug the second episode - the similarity in attitude between her and the onscreen character, ah - and I’m of the opinion that we’ve got some mighty fine acting and direction going on.
Can do without the parkour though. Truly a blight on humanity

Loved it. Captures (so far) something The Mandalorian and Boba Fett didn't.

Only watched the 1st episode but thought it was ok. Gave up on boba after ep1. Is it worth revisiting at some point or does it stay crap?

Agreed on that. The character stuff is well directed, especially lil Leia. Imagine if Jake Lloyd had given a performance of that quality in The Phantom Menace.

I couldn't help but think that, between Mandalorian, Boba Fett and Obi-Wan, they are getting a lot of mileage out of the Tattooine sets in a way that must save them a bit of money. So when the second episode went to the Nar-Shaddaa style planet that was the complete opposite, I was quite pleased.

Still not sure whether his nightmare ending with pod racing was an intentional joke or not.

Forgot to mention that when Flea appeared as Vect Nokru, I reacted in much the same way that Beavis and Butthead did when he was in the video for The Butthole Surfers' "Who Was In My Room Last Night?"

I just assumed the next shift was going to take over, doesn't look like an operation that really gives a shit about good work practices.
I enjoyed both episodes, was glad to see somewhere other than Tatooine as well.

Kinda got the impression that the giant dead creature lying in the desert sun for days and days without spoiling might have a property which makes it not spoil

Hah, me too but then I had to explain what a Red Hot Chilli Pepper was to my kids. All in all I enjoyed it.

Just watched the first two. I haven't seen any of the cartoon stuff, so the Inquisitors are new to me. Head Inquisitor bloke genuinely looked like he was going to start laughing a couple of times in Ep 1, and since I've found out who's playing one of his sidekicks, all I can think is "That's Han from Fast & Furious."
Overall, I quite liked it, though I could have done without Princess Scrappy Doo. We get it - you're strong-willed, but that doesn't equate to 'suicidal idiot'.
Hands up who reckons we'll get a cameo from the Falcon before the series is over?

It looks very nice, the settings and background characters all seem very Star Wars. 10 years they have been hunting Kenobi, it seems a bit odd to let him just sail off on a automated barge with only an angry fist/sabre shake and a threat. Shirley find out the ships destination or snare it a tractor beam and board it. It seemed a bit of an anti climax to be thwarted by a space bus.
As for the Inquisitors I understand betrayal is fairly standard amongst Sith but poking a hole in your commander must attract some sort of HR disciplinary at the very least, maybe that will happen in the next episode but it feels like they are building her to be the shows nemesis alongside Vader so it'll be frustrating if that is simply glossed over
