I kinda wish that dos stuck around for a bit longer, purely for selfish reasons, as I was far more inclined to tinker with that than with any windows that came after it, and I might have got myself a sweet IT job and be a rich mofo that does hacking as a side gig with cool sunglasses and hos all up in my grill, and milkshakes. It's true the hoes are all about knowledge of DOS. |

Not sure if there’s real hacking involved, the way I understood it he probably social engineered his way into their Discord or Slack.
I liked DOS. Once you got good at it, it did make you look like a hacker to other people, whilst you were simply copying some files or something. So much time wasted editing autoexec.bat and config.sys

Since Rockstar use RAGE I'm hoping it'll work in their favour and the release won't mirror that absolute fucking shambles that has been seen recentky with UE driven games.

Don't know why I feel doubly embarrassed to admit this, but I think this'll be the title that pushes me over the edge into finally jumping on board to a current gen console.
That'a assuming there's any substance in speculation like the above and that we're not waiting until 2030.

I think the initial release date for RDR2 was 12 months after its announcement.
Two subsequent delays of six months apiece meant that the game eventually came out two years after it was first unveiled.
That's pretty much what I'm expecting to see here, especially after the debacle of GTA: The Trilogy - Rockstar can't afford to put out another broken, buggy product like that!

I'm actually quite excited at the prospect of GTA VI. For one thing, I loved the previous game; for another, it'll (presumably) stop Rockstar from reissuing GTA V for a while.
Bold prediction: GTA VI will still be controversial among the usual right-wing pearl-clutching brigade, but this time, it'll be because the game is "woke trash." (You'll still be able to beat up prostitutes, shoot down police helicopters, murder random passers-by, and visit strip clubs, but all that will be overshadowed by the presence of a playable female character.)

Why would you be embarrassed to like GTA? I wouldn't, getting a console (sort of) for one game is more what I meant. I'd buy a PSVR2 if that Half-life game ever comes out for it and probably never play anything else on it. |

I just want to know how they’ll manage GTA Online- I’ve played way more of that than the single player over the years. In fact I’m not even sure how excited to be for the SP campaign- I’m more interested in the map, and the articles that go “50 CRAZY things in GTA6 you may not have noticed” and number 28 is like “you can fog up a window by breathing on it and then draw a smiley”, stuff like that.

Multiple characters and the heist mechanic, but it hasn't really changed all the much given 3 was a couple of decades ago. The leaked footage didn't seem to suggest major changes to the formula either. It's a licence to print money. Tweak a little and crank the massive handle. |

I've never even touched the online mode in 5. IIRC it wasn't available straight away at launch (or I was just too excited to get on with the SP), and by the time I'd ploughed through SP I was done with the game.
I can definitely see them combining the the two modes this time around.
