I swear everything costs a fiver now. Like everything you put in your basket is around a fiver or you get 30% less in a packet. Every shop, it's like "oh, that's another 20/30p more expensive". It's mad. It's going to be a long winter.

It's mad. It's going to be a long winter. I started with Guoto and saved a bit. Just shopping for myself my groceries can vary from £40 - £70 per week and I end up throwing stuff away occasionally. I'm still on discount prices but even without it's surprising reasonable.

We did HelloFresh for a while during lockdown. I liked it, but we'd still have to cook for the fussy kids and they then started to charge extra for most dishes. Sod that. Gave us a good stack of easy recipes though.

Can get a tenner off if you order groceries from Morrisons via Amazon and use the code MORFIRST10 (first order only) at checkout.

My wife wants to try a Morrisons order, so thanks. We sacked that kind of shit off years ago when Asda failed to deliver an entire order then turned up later with a bag of dairy thinking they'd completed the job. Fingers crossed.

You have to spend £50, and it's not a whole supermarket of stuff, but the staples are there and it's not exactly a challenge to get to fifty quid on those at the moment Oh, to clarify, it's a Morrisons order through Amazon

We've got two teenage kids so we'll easily spend £50. Just on pizzas probably.

"DP World did not give separate details on the performance of its ferries business in its results, but the bulk of revenues and profits come from other divisions."
I don't doubt for a second that they're cunts, but the story isn't quite what the headline implies.

Asda online were awful when I used them, they only turned up with one item from a £60 order and that was wrong.
Ocado always works out cheaper than going in store, largely because I can spend a week editing it and trimming any waste from it. Their budget stuff is about the same price as Tesco and Morrisons and they rarely don’t have something we order.
Delivery is free for certain time slots too.

We ordered some bits from Iceland the other day and when the driver showed up our eggs were broken, he said he couldn't do anything about it and we would need to call the office to sort out a refund for them. Won't be bothering with them again (not that we normally do bit the Mrs wanted something specially from there).

I haven't ordered from Iceland before as far as I can recall, but every other supermarket I've used lets you just send stuff back at the point of delivery

Your body can't digest them though That is the sort of defeatist talk that was pandered before we chose, as a nation, to cut off our balls and voted Brexit. If we didn’t eat staples during the war or 1966, our world history would be very different. I didn’t fight in the war, admittedly ,,,,,, I want gammon. Can the living unleash their own zombie plague and solve several problems?
