FYI, the main house fire season in japan is winter, because loads of old people use little portable heaters (electric, gas, etc..) and loads of houses burn down. Another of the benefits of lack of insulation and central heating. Gotta love that kerosene smell! At least underfloor heating seems to be becoming much more common in brand new houses. |

You need to have a stove that meets efficiency requirements, with a HETAS certificated install. Wood with low moisture from air drying or a kiln can be used.

£305 here. My mum's has gone from £80 to £141. Speaking of which, the gas meter reading I sent through to her supplier the other day bore no resemblance to the previous reading as at some point the gas company had to replace the meter and obvs didn't tell the supplier. Fuck knows how they sort that out.

Import a load of cheap shit off Alibaba and flog it on Amazon. No-one's doing that at the moment, it's virgin territory;
Slum buy-to-lets/Airbnbs. I know someone doing very well off that and he is one of the very best people I know, a class act;
