Today I am listening to Lindisfarne. I can’t explain why. I have no excuses. I am deeply sorry.

This is a bit unsettling, and weird and maybe slightly unnerving, and not sure I like it but I find it captivating. (So I think I like it)
Reminds me of the Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher soundtracks simultaneously. What the actual f**k did I just watch?!?
Growls while crowd-surfing almost naked? That's impressive!

Ohh various YouTube uploads of LP performing a live debut for Heavy Is The Crown. If that's any indication of how the rest of the album is going to be like then I'll be happy. Seriously good!

The whole album is pretty good. A very easy listen.
Her solo album is actually also really good. Sim's I was quite lukewarm on.

Might give the jamie XX album a go then, the few I've heard from it have been ok.

The giant Faces at the BBC box set, albeit via Spotify as whilst I like The Faces a lot, I don’t like them £120 a lot.
Anyway it’s great. And Ronnie Wood is sorely underrated.

New Order - Vanishing Point
I think this song has everything. Not too far house/dance. Enough of a reminder of where they came from. Peek of their powers imo.

The Faces were brilliant. I was so sad when a rumoured re-union didn't happen. I even went to see Rod once in the hope he'd play one or two of their songs. Sadly, he didn't.

Someone mentioned their tour getting cancelled, and I'd never heard of them. And now I have this song stuck in my head.
Mysterines - Take Control.
Though it does also really really remind me of something.

Yeah, I'm gutted about that. Saw them supporting Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes earlier this year, and they were phenomenal. Was going to see them in Cardiff in February.

I know people talk about the Slipknot performance from a couple of years later but imagine getting to watch this over your fish fingers and chips
This was my first Faith No More album and I still think its sublime.

I do wonder what's up with thw mysterines tour cancellation. The statement raised more questions than it answered tbh.

I spent at least a solid month earlier this year with RATATATA rattling around my head. My daughter was listening to it on a loop and, honestly, its an absolute bop.
