Skyzoo - All the Brilliant Things
On the excellent Mello Music Group label.
Got that nice 90s chilled hip hop vibe.

I have been listening to some Ambient, soundtracks and such during work. I also rediscovered Starofash. Pretty interesting.

New GnR song. I think I like it.

Listening to the me Poppy album. It's okay, need to listen again. It's less twisty-turny than I Disagree, more alt-rock than metal. Very 90's sounding, but grungey, bit pop-punky. Garbage / No Doubt at times. Pleasant enough, but it just kinda washes over me.

The whole set is here. Some total psychopath has used the official bootleg audio then cut together all 3hrs 15 by syncing up all the mobile phone footage from the night. I assume it took forever.
Black, Jeremy, State of Love and Trust, Alive what a run through the middle of the second encore.

Keep going back to the new Halsey album, even the tracks I wasn’t that keen on initially have grown on me. Super stuff.. thanks Trent

youtu.be/WS2H73Q3WsEActually triggered by the fact that I've been emulating Tekken 5 on PCSX2, getting to the gold pit stage and thinking "Money Dance" would flow so well in this stage. If it was the early 2000s and we were still making combo videos on Tekken Zaibatsu and Fighters.Net, this would be a shoe in.

Rock? Metal? Punk? I dunno, but I love it. I'm not religious, but this entire album is like one long blood & thunder old-testament sermon, and it's amazing.

I’ve been on a total grunge binge because of the Nevermind anniversary. Although I made the mistake of watching the Classic Albums episode about it earlier. Nothing sucks the life and joy out of an album like the Classic Albums format.

As recommended by George Trousersnake... Low - Hey What? Just got this beaut delivered. The first side ends on a repeating loop, which is always pretty gangster.

Lovely. I liked the album.
On clear vinyl, nonetheless! Old school.

Turns out giving a lot of these albums 10-15 years to lose their ubiquity means you can actually enjoy them again

Been playing the Band this morning. That's always been and still is a fairly regular thing for me.
Currently listening to the self-titled second album.

Ended up down a reaction video rabbit hole earlier. All those women hearing Type O Negative play this for the first time looked like they needed a cigarette and lie down when it was over.
